To buy or not to buy...

"to buy or not to buy" that is the question. for sometime now, i have set my eyes on this. (click picture for more info)

the Dell 2005FPW 20" Ultrasharp Wide Screen Flat Panel LCD Monitor at RM2249 with 12 month installments via maybank or citibank credit card. though the 24" model is more tempting, the features are more or less the same but the pricing will kill the pockets with an additional rm1569 (RM3818 total price). hopefully can decide by latest tomorrow as the price might increase after the 27th. new offer i guess...or maybe a newer model. but still contemplating on it. but by buying this, my 2 babies (PC and PS2) can merge into 1 monitor and thus, saving space!! so people, what do you think!? of course, by doing so...this will definately affect the "dfp (david future planning) fund". thats why im still thinking. sigh...

so chinese new year is around the corner, what are the plans again?! where to go makan and loh sang...and then maybe gamble?! [note: david will not be banker...EVER!!] hehehe. but here's a wonder...is it just me or does everyone feel that festivities no longer bring much happiness and eagerness?! well i mean that when we were little kids, come festivities...we'll be hyped up about it...shopping for new clothes, looking forward to seeing cousins, bugging parents to buy "pop-pop" and "for-far" (those spinklers that looks like flowers when lit) and of course...angpau, cause back then, the money seemed so BIG!!

now, i dont know about you guys...but i usually just look forward to festivities cause i can get a holiday from work. *stress* thats bad right?! hell, i didnt even get any new clothes this year. the only thing new i probably got was my shoes. thus...no more new clothes, not looking forward to see cousins (seems everyone grew up with different interests), too old for "pop-pop" and "for-far", and the angpau...dont even want to start on that. will definately curse the person who gives me rm1 angpau man!! dont laugh...i actually got 1 packet last year. so the only thing im actually looking forward to this year is dinner with my darling's parents and spending time with my friends. oh yea...forgot the most important...winning everyone's money!! bwahahaha. but i will still not become banker so dont bug me. *bleakz*

sigh...1 more downside to this year's chinese new year, im going to be the driver to seremban cause this year my dad malas to drive wor!! oh...the traffic jam. but then again...can rev the gen2 my way...*nyek nyek*

work wise, im begining to get overloaded with new project plans. just finished this one in KLIA, will begin a new one right after chinese new year in KL and then followed right after with another project back in KLIA. there's also plans for me to be moving east and west malaysia for new sap deployment, upgrades and customizing. claims wise, good!! work wise, *pengsan*!! oh well, meeting time for the next upcoming project here in KLIA. ja neh~

1st Day at new office

As the title says....it's my first day of my new job today at Atos Origin as System Operator. Basically doing mid range servers and mainframes. The place is very big...they have their own personal Silo's. Dont really know how to explain what is it, but it's freaking huge. Anyway, at this point, i'm still not sure what i'm suppose to do...not planned yet...as my "toys" are still in Hong Kong...

Anyway, if not mistaken, i'll be going to HK on 6/2 for probably 20 days...not really excited as I have to work on shift there...8 - 8 again..12 hours...and more working days...allowance is quite low too...have to pay for all my meals with it..only accomodation is provided. The good thing is, the apartment is situated right on top of Jaya Jusco...haha..can shop anytime...

Well, not much to update also. So when should we have our gambling sessions? And also at whose house? haha...Soloh, how's ur preparation going? Prepared for the big day at Jon's house with the liqours? You better not chicken out man....I'll see you there....Like i said, dun worry, he has a big monsoon drain in front of his house...can vomit happily there ok? So david shall be the banker ok? Since he's the most loaded here...haha...donate some to us yar?

Well, that's all for now....have to continue my part time job now...haha. Good nite people...
HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!!!

Double standards and morons...

yo!! once again...im back in KLIA. sigh...apparently they found a damned bug. so will have to fix it before they deploy it. oh well, if i must...i must. also, will be on another project soon which might require me to travel alot between east and west malaysia. yea!! however, not sure whether i should accept it as i will be on another project in april. hmnn...decisions decisions. anyhow, here's what i heard on the radio today. police officials have been apparently issued the power to fine and/or jail those who play with fireworks/firecrackers this coming chinese new year (GONG XI FA CHAI in advance to those whom i might not be see during this period of time... hehehe). the fine = rm10k. which is totally absurd. firecrackers have always been a chinese culture/tradition for many generations. correct me if im wrong...but firecrackers are used to usher in the new lunar year as well as ward of bad luck and evil spirits around our household. so by imposing a ban on such things...might as well ban us from celebrating the new lunar year right?!

aside from that, i strongly believe chinese/indian communities should not endure such nonsense because "their" people are over excessively farking stupid "ambitious" in creating their ever popular meriam and *BOOM* blowing up their fingers to kingdom come. because of a few morons on their side leads to overall casting that everyone should not play it because their too dumb to do so. all the double standards. harmony and equality among cultures my ass!! on another note, i went through the newspapers today (
http://thestar.com.my/news/story.asp?file=/2006/1/25/nation/13204067&sec=nation) and found this rather interesting. its about a 16 year old malay kid which had a chair thrown at him while illegally riding his bike and trying to evade a roadblock. in my eyes, serves him right. who cares if you're 16 or 50. wrong is wrong. to make matters worse, he was awarded a bicycle because he's poor. *faints*

we're handing out freebies to wrong do-ers whom claim to be poor?! first and foremost, if one is poor...where would one have money to sue!! lawyers fee FOC ar?! well, you get my point. but i am not all cold hearted on this matter. the JPJ officer who did this also should suffer the consequences of his action. couldnt he do it in a more civilized way by getting his registration number and hunting him down instead?! but some of them really deserve the chair of stick to knock them off. almost hit one of there morons when they came opposite direction of traffic trying to avoid the roadblocks. morons!! so who's wrong?! both of them, cause their morons (kinda like using this word already...hehehe).

hmnn, also...taser guns (
http://thestar.com.my/news/story.asp?file=/2006/1/25/nation/13210757&sec=nation), its about damn time!! no more stray bullets hitting innocent people. however, there are downsides to this implementation as well. here's a list i compiled (too free at the moment):
  • more wrong do-ers alive. now why would we wanna have that?!
  • more needs for medication to treat morons. last i heard, tasers causes muscle spasms and nausea.
  • police officers will need to work their sorry fat asses and chase morons. 6.2 meters aint exactly very far for the tasers shooting range.
  • tnb charges/battery prices will increase due to this. well, what do you think?! they cant use water to achieve electric charges now can they.
hahaha. that's more or less on what i have to say for today. if this post was found offensive to some of you people. well, truth hurts and thats how things are. before i stop, CONGRATULATIONS YC ON YOUR NEW JOBBIE!! work hard and excel in your career!! this is me...signing off for now.

The X Factor!

MAN I sure did a whole lot of unexpected shopping last Saturday!

Fished myself a whole collection of games! =P Trying to complete my Xbox collection before the pop exclusive games phase out from market.

I was in search for this title this whole month and finally it's out for the PS2! It's a reminiscence of all the Mega Man X games from SNES straight till the PS era. Pretty good deal. But hard as hell.

I nv got the chance to play X2, X5 and X6... so here's my chance. =P

PS2 owners this upcoming title is a must hav! After watching the Intro you would certainly re-think your impressions about the genre.

Watch the full CG intro HERE.

On another side note... Gosh I really beh tahan one of my colleague... I mean... he's complainin about us yet he has no idea what he's doing actually pissing the lights off us off... Oh well, we have these oblivious people around... Gets on my nerve sometimes... Whatever...

Take care people. Love ya. *Hugs*

JobStreet was hacked?

When I woke up today, I saw that got an SMS today from JobStreet. It goes;

FOC Msg:Hi Teckiee, JobStreet has just sent you an invitation to apply for its Regional Sales Manager position. Pls check your email.

.... It's really odd. Why would JobStreet want me to apply for a Sales Manager position? I have almost no sales background and me as manager? They must be kidding.

But of course, I was still curious on what was going on. I noticed that the message was sent at 1.11am so the first thing that came to my mind was... there's a mistake somewhere, or... JobStreet was hacked!

Anyway, I checked my mail. Nothing. Junk mail folder... I think nothing. I was too quick with the 'delete forever' button. But at glance, I saw nothing from JobStreet. I came to the conclusion that there was some error somewhere on JobStreet's side, so I ignored the SMS.

A few hours later, I got an email... yes, from JobStreet, but not for their regional sales manager position. Here's what they wanted. (I'm not going to paste the email here just on the save side. I don't want to get sued as the email disclaimer has got some not to do instruction.)

This person who claims to be the Senior Recruitment Consultant have asked me to send his\her my resume so he\she can further discuss the job I was short listed for before sending to the company.

Question: Since he\she was the Senior Recruitment Consultant of JobStreet, all of my details are with them along with my authenticated resume. Why ask again? It would be more logical to ask me (the 'job seeker') to update my resume on JobStreet.

The email also requested for me to email him\her back to let him\her know I have received the email.

You know... It's odd. The email did come from some auto mailer @ JobStreet.com but that can be easily changed. There are many hoax emails and sites that mimic other companies too. (I have personally received a few from HSBC and Amazon and EBay)

Obviously, I have not replied the email and have no intention to.

Somehow my gut feelings tells me that something is wrong, although the position and company said on the email is something I want. Something tells me that this is one of those emails to 'confirm' that my email is active to spammers.

Then again I might be wrong and really paranoid. I guess I'll wait until Monday. I shall give this person a ring.

Joke of the Day...

A couple went to a sex therapists office at ABC Hospital. The doctor asked, "What can I do for you?" The man said, "Will you watch us having sex, for your expert analysis?" The doctor looked puzzled, but agreed. When the couple finished, the doctor said, "There's nothing wrong with the way you have intercourse". And charged them RM60.

This happened several weeks in a row. The couple would make an Appointment, have intercourse with no problems, pay the doctor and then leave. Finally the doctor asked, "Just exactly what are you trying to find out?" The man said, "We're not trying to find out anything. She's married and we can't go to her house. I'm married and we can't go to my house. Shangri-la Putrajaya charges RM250, Mandarin Oriental charges RM280,Le Meridian charges RM230. We do it here for RM60, and I get that back from Medical Claim"!!

PS: please dont try this as i will not be responsible for any misconduct that may occur.

Gathering...

gathering this Saturday 9.30pm, Heaven Cafe at The Curve?! anyone up for it?! come on...dont give me excuses like:

  • no money: not valid cause you're working and im not asking you to spend more than rm50.
  • no transport: we have so many drivers.
  • need to exercise: i've see all of you who have been exercising, NO DIFFERENCE SO FAR!! so 1 session you skip wont make you any fatter.
  • need rest: u have the whole sunday.
  • who's going first?!: doesnt matter, as long as you're going...there will be more than just you so no worries.
  • why there?! dont want that location!!: in that case, you come up with a more suitable location!!
hmnn...i think practically covered all lame-ass excuses. if you come up with any other along this week...i will just find a way to counter it...so just STFU and be there ok?! cheers. ja neh~

PS: dont tell me whether you're going or not. expecting you all to be there. very fed up trying to accomodate for everyone's timing and preference...

Ohh...so gross!!

today saw a few gross things. i really dont understand why some people are like that. a toilet is a dirty dirty place. meaning...wash your damn hands when you're done with whatever business you had with it. many times i've seen guys pee, dangle their thing when done...walk out the door and dig their nose. *pengsan* why?! didnt they teach you all this in kindergarden?! anyway, today saw 2 morons at the urinal...peeing and talking. hell, imagine 2 people holding their dong and talkin about current events. *pengsan* why?! want to chat go to mamak man!! weird weird people.

aside from this, i've also seen guys publicly scratching their balls. i mean itches are meant to be scratched...but then...do it appropriately at the right place. gross!! what is the grosses thing you've noticed lately?! do tell. we should begin an awareness programme among us humans. hehehe...back to work. sometimes i think i spend way too much time talking nonsense. ja neh~

PS: by the way...im going to revive my bloggie soon. still thinking how to revamp it.

Spring cleaning...

jst the other day (sunday) i decided to give a mild spring cleaning in my room. my goodness, i seem to hoard alot of junk and stuff which i never use anymore man.

just to name a few:
  • form 3 - 5 activity and text books
  • colleage sketchpads and reference books
  • unwearable clothes
  • boxes of shoes which i bought throught the years

thats basically it i guess. all in all, terrible sight. have to do more cleaning in the future. i also feel like getting rid of some cupboards or even a table as i am not using it. even the rack displaying throphies is just plainly there collecting dust. however, i did manage to find one of the first things my darling ever gave me.

felt so happy i found it. though i cant wear it...it still brought back memories. cant wait to see her later for lunch!!

speaking of which, im currently in my new office. its so much nicer here. very very impressive. will take pictures next time if i ever equip myself with a new digital camera (next on purchasing list). very nice and spacious...only downside to being a consultant...I STILL DONT HAVE A BLARDY TABLE TO CALL MY OWN!! sigh. have to play musical chairs once again. oh well, its ok i guess considering i dont have to be in the office 100% of the time. parking rates also increase as outdoor parking is rm5 and in-office parking is way more expensive. but its ok...i still have to find a suitable parking on the opposite side of the road for easier access to my darling's office.

namecard was supposedly supposed to be handed to me today...but due to some complications, it has been sent back for reprinting wor. wifi card for office laptop is on the way!! yea!! can use wireless in my house soon. cny around the corner, havent bought any new clothes. maybe shall just divert their attention to my shoes. hahaha. time to "loh sang" too. wonder what to wish for this year. so far all has come true. coincidence?! or did the "fat choy sann" visit me when i wasnt aware. anyhow, happy chinese new year in advance if i dont blog from now till then.

back to documentation. ja neh~

Spend!! Spend!! Spend!!

yo!! come to think of things, i kinda spent alot of moolah this week man:

JAN 10, spent money on a fireworks display for my darling (special thanks to yc, soloh and amy!! owe you guys one...ermm...dont know one what la...hehehe). didnt turn out the way i wanted to...but it was worth every single cent!! love you dear!!

JAN 12, spent money on a new router/wifi modem.

JAN 14, got my first pair of "adi" and "das". here they are together.

hehehe...nice hor (& you can see the reflection of the shoe off my room floor...i didnt even know it can reflect). come to think of it...i seem to have quite alot of shoes (not working ones) in white and red. dont know why though...i guess the combination seems to attract me. oh well, better start intensive saving. oh yea...i also bought a mousepad to go along with the mouse i bought from soloh the other day.

well, thats more or less it. there was something very cute about my darling today when i went to lowyat to get dvd-r's and the mousepad. however, will leave it to her to blog about it if she wants. so kawaii!!

anyway, back to work (documentation of reports). damn saddening la. its saturday night, its 10pm...and im home doing work and not getting paid for it. oh well, guess thats my life anyway. by the way...how was your medical check-up yc?! got your balls groped?! HAHAHA. enough for today. back to work. ja neh~

Wouldnt mind rearing such a BIG @$$ dog like this

btw, this looks more like a mix breed of lion and some dog, got it from an email, i think it mention its some sort of tibetan dog

Things not too good...

hi people, how you doing?! today's friday the 13th...a day of bad luck. i really wonder why or who initiated this bunch of crap. anyhow, things dont seem to be looking too good for my family. mum is going to be out of a job soon. stupid company's CEO and GM went to play around with company funds or something like that and now leaving it to die. they also took the best staff's and went over to Peter Stuyvesant or something like that. FARKERS!! anyhow, mum undergoing interview today...eventhough she's sick. she did however wish dad would say "you dont have to work already and can stay home" though. hell i hope that does not happen. imagine what would happen to my wallet in order to support my family. *stress* anyhow, all the best mum.

hmnn...guess what. i got myself a new modem/wifi/router yesterday at RM250 (+ RM6 for credit card charges). a brand new Aztech DSL6000EW. why?! cause my previous router is sorta wonky already after the lightning striked it about a month back. cant dial into streamyx and even if it can...it cant be maintained. but still functions well just as a router though. anyone wanna buy it to take it off my hands?! i also have a Telekom Kasda ADSL Modem to sell too. let me know if anyone is interested. *bleakz* well, for the wifi router/modem...it would be awhile before i actually get rid of all the wires. right now, have to ensure people around my area steal my bandwidth. damn leeches!!

on work aspect of things, i've finished my 6 reports...so now begining optimization and bug fixing. so far i guess its ok. 1 more day next week in KLIA and another day for support depending on the quality of work. hehehe. yes la!! managed to develop their 10 year longly awaited and complicating report. bwahahaha...feel so happy and proud. also, darling went to recommend me to play Hollywood Stock Exchange. kinda addicted to it already. so drop by and lets see whos better. back to work...ja neh~

PS: we should have a gathering again really soon. kinda miss everyone...

Tinkering with my Address Book

Bleakz* Not sure what that was for.

Yesterday was 'Call up all my friends in my phone book' night and so I indulged in that activity.

Actually, I was supposed to call up people that I've sorta lost touch with with exception of some close friends. hehe...

First off, tried to call Aaron... The guy who lives just across my road back when I was at BU. Nobody answered. But I did receive a call at 11pm something... only found out this morning.

Called Graham, Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee... hehehe... so happy to talk to him. Ahehehe... Multimedia guy as usual.

Called Wei Chin! Made a date to visit her shop prolly this weekend. =P

Called Hiew Yuen. Same ol' gal! Love her! hehe... hugs* She so beh tahan my attitude as usual. =P

Called ZHong. Ahehehe... coowl guy.

Called Sai Mun. Miss that fellar...

Called... P... a stupid girl answered the phone... damn I sure wished I could run her over... she did something pretty bad back when they were at UK... Lame F***...

Well, nothing much else... Did not swim yesterday... felt lazy...

And I still have not hooked up my new baby... I think let's wait till the marriage before losing our virginities... ermm... her virginity. ahahaha... vulgar sial. =P

Take care people. Love you. Hugs*

Happy Marriage Nat!

I hope my current 4 wives are able to get along. I love them so much. 2 more planned in 2 years time! Think of the no. of kids I am gonna hav!

lost in ermmm...no idea since i got lost. 0_o

i officially have to say this on a blog. MALAYSIA STREET ROADS SIGNBOARDS SUCK TO THE MAXIMONDOUS (this word actually exist...)!! was scheduled for a ex-colleague's wedding dinner today at Six Happiness Restaurant, Selayang. before i begin my nagging, CONGRATULATIONS SIOW TING!! may you have lotsa siow ting jr.'s running around!! hehehe.

ok, before the issue on road signboards, i had a brief map of the location of the restaurant. asked dad on how to get there...got a brief idea on it...1 way...kepong way, the other jalan duta following jalan kuching. ok lorr...duta it is...cause it was nearer. there i went...following road signs. all was fine till jalan kuching on the signboards went missing. before i knew it...i was already on jalan sultan ismail (darling's office). WTF?! -_-' nevermind lor, back-track...found the road on the signs again. yippee i thought to myself but god i was so wrong. was back on the same road headed for darling's office once again.

dont know im dumb or road signs are stupid. oh well...to make the story short...i twisted and turned...& found myself on the very road i would have taken if i were to come by the kepong way stated on the map. *bang head on the wall* had wedding lunch. food...not nice, service...lousy and there were very happy people there singing music in hokkien. and for the very first time, i heard a hakka song. guess i shall just stick to mandrin songs...sound so much more pleasent.

oh well, nightmare occured on the way back after the lunch. go back by the kepong way i thought since what the hell. got lost...ended up somewhere in kepong baru and before i noticed...i was somewhere near kwang kor's house junction. came back by taman menjelara (which reminds me...lunch/dinner outing anyone?!) since i know my way around that area considering the number of times i journeyed over there during FYP days. well, got back to pj with an empty tank. thankfully didnt breakdown...

during this wonderous adventure around kl, kepong, selayang and god knows where else i ventured, i managed to squeeze sometime to see my sweet darling...though it was only approx 5 minutes...worth every second. parents up in genting once again. though im off tomorrow, have quite alot of things to do. being a driver for my sister's first day in culinary college. hope she becomes a super chef...so i will never have to pay for food ever again!! bwahaha. its just a thought. oh well, sleep sleep time. ja neh~

ps: the word "maximondus" does not exist actually. but i do feel a little better knowing at least 1 of you fell for it. nyek nyek. have a good day...

The Idiot and New Year's... -_-'

hi. as most of you already know...im a total idiot!! i ruined the entire new year's for me and my darling. especially for my darling who put so much effort and money into it (which would have been perfect if it wasnt for me). sigh...still miserable though things have cooled down and we're on "good" terms and no longer on time-out (YIPPEE!!). will DEFINATELY be making up for my idiocy soon dear. wait for it... *bleakz* anyhow, thats not the point. after that night's "incident", it got me thinking...

when did my life become so cautious, negative and ANALytical (stressed on anal cause i think im an ass at the moment)?! when did i stop learning to have fun?! or being spontaneouse?! or being decisive for that matter?! have i changed that much unconsciously?! guess i know what this year's resolution will be. so we'll see how far i will go. on a final note, sorry darling for spoiling your plans.

alrights, will be stopping on the whole issue and moving along to the next agenda...HOLIDAY!!
  • destination: pulau redang (it is an island right?!)!!
  • date: 29th April - 1st May!!
  • heads up for it so far: 5...and growing...anyone interested?!
  • cost: depends...havent sat down to research. but i think considering the total number of people...better to stay in apartment.
so...that's about it for now. please let me know if you're up for the trip. thanks. back to project (stress...macam cannot finish it on time like that). *cry* ja neh~

Hop* Hop* Hop* to 2006

Hey all, Back from Singapore...

It was enjoyable... yet depressing at the same time.

Enjoyable because I get to see my bro's g/f. Ahahaha... and my other sister.

Depressed because I got sick once there...

31/Dec/2005 (Saturday)

Reached S'pore borders at 7.30am. Check point immigration took 1 hour... Grrr... officially touched down S'pore soil at 9am like that.

Walked to the nearest MRT station... can't remember what name... Took the MRT to Jurong East, and then transit to Bukit Batok (LOL! Buttock) where my brother stays. Headed straight for the coffee shop and had breakfast.

Then it's a one round pass Bukit Buttock's (Whhopps, batok) shopping complex. Bought a sushi. Rested until 1.30pm and headed off to Bukit Batok's complex again to meet up with bro's g/f. Had lunch there.

Then it was off to Jurong East for the star wars exhibition. Pretty corny stuff in there. Nothing like what I've expected.

Left at 5pm and headed for Choa Chu Kang via MRT and purchased groceries for dinner.

Bro's g/f lives in CCK so we settled in her apartment. Met her mom (Very nice lady) and cooked there. Dinner was very healthy. All greens. Bro's vege kacang fried kuih thingy sucks... ahahha... No offence.

Partied there till midnight and stayed overnight. Played lots of Dance dance revolution till I think I lost 10 KG straight off!

Next morning headed for breakfast and settled at bro's place till 2pm where I headed to Bugis and met up with my sis. Chatted till 5pm and headed for Expo centre for their church concert.

Left 1 hour later cause was very sick.

Slept till 6am next morning and left back for M'sia.

Thanks 2 sis and bro for the great time! Muaks* Hugs*

Pics will be uploaded later.

Happy New Year and all the best

Alright, let me the first amoung the 4 guys and 2 girls to wish you all HAPPY 2006! For some, 2006 is just another year... well it's true because 2006 is another year, unless you make it not 'another' year.

I have no idea what will be installed for in this year but hopefully everything goes almost smoothly (I wouldn't want things too be too smooth though... things would be boring if they do hahahaha).

Happy New Year and all the best!
