What's on our minds today!?

This just in: Water shortage crisis is looming...

The cause?! Drought? Water pollution to our water source? The ever-famous 'tidak apa' attitude instilled within we Malaysians?

All applies...

When will we ever learn to stop taking things for granted? Despite numerous warnings by the media, I could still see people with care free attitudes towards water usage. I will whole heartedly admt: Myself included. Do we have more important things in our mind to attend to and water... being the fundamental element in our daily lives... post no thoughts in our ever complex minds?

Well, it is the word 'fundamental' that we should take note of. Fundamental... the basis of living... and that alone exudes the utmost importance and require our immediate attention!

Sigh*...

Most of us are aware that dumping waste into the river is a big no-no... and most who are adequately educated with moral values know the hazard of doing so... but we will be surprised to how many educated people conduct such atrocity... Sigh* It is this sort of people that should be run over by trucks...

Now when it come to usage of water... we should also take note of the amount we apply onto our daily activities... Washing our dishes, clothes, cars, and even our very backsides after we declare war in our very toilets...

We must constantly remind ourself that water is the essence of life... and a shortage is apparent... take note of the amount we use... that I MUST speak for myself.

Now... water is not the only thing we take for granted... time... and time spent with the people we love... Time flies so fast... and the possibilities of what's done and not... is limitless... Sigh*... This I have to speak for myself too...

Never Lie To Your Mother

A young man called Peter invited his mother for dinner. Duringthe course of the meal, his mother couldn't help notice how handsomePeter's flatmate was. She had long been suspicious of a relationship between the two, and this only made her more curious.
Over the course of the evening while watching the two interact shestarted to wonder if there was more between Peter and his flatmate thanmet the eye. Reading his mother's thoughts, Peter volunteered, "I know what you must be thinking, but I assure you Simon and I are just flatmates".
About a week later, Simon came to Peter saying, "Ever since your mother came to dinner, I've been unable to find the frying pan. You don't suppose she took it do you?""Well I doubt it, but I'll email her just to be sure" said Peter.
So he sat down and wrote:"Dear mother, I'm not saying that you 'did' take the frying pan from my house, I'm not saying that 'did not' take the fry pan but the fact remains that it has been missing since you were here for dinner.Love Peter".
Several days later Peter received an email from his mother, which read:"Dear Son, I'm not saying that you 'do' sleep with Simon, and I'm not saying that you 'do not' sleep with Simon, but the fact remains that if he was sleeping in his own bed, he would have found the frying pan. Bye now.Love Mum".
LESSON OF THE DAY - DON'T EVER LIE TO YOUR MOTHER - SHE ALWAYS FINDS OUT.

Sickkk

The worst thing that can happen on a Saturday night is falling sick.

Well, not that I'm going out or anything but it still sucks having your nose blocked, thick green "cendol" like mucus stuck in your nose. The throat feeling worst that having downed a glass of 3 wise men The burning sensation is forever and worst when I try to swallow.

I need to see the doctor already.... *criesss*

MALAYSIA

Yo peepz,

Life here without newspaper makes my life a bit backdated.
Something that I haven't get used to....so now my source of news are mostly from www.thestar.com.my and also from other blog sources...haha..

Do correct me if i'm wrong...Anyway, heard that PJ is now a city of itself...though I have no idea what difference it will make since I have started living there since....let me see....oh yar...the day i was born...haha...i mean there are minor changes here and there....but then infrastructure wise...erm....i will still say it suck...i bet a lot of PJ-ians will actually agree with me on this...I think the thing that actually improved drastically is the price of the buildings....if not mistaken, it increased about 1000%...

Secondly...i read that the G is building half a bridge from Johor to Singapore...am i correct? haha....another excellent job from Mr.S-V.....i guess that big house @ Jln Ipoh and that fat wallet not 2 mention fat tummy is just not big enough....he really stick to the "more the merrier" philosophy...wat can the "rakyat" say....i guess there's where the subsidy goes now...haha..

Read from the papers today that PM is actually thinking of ways to minimize the burden of the "rakyat" i wonder how... seems that the blame now is on the opposition party for using this to brainwash our minds and also to make a big issue out of the G's incompetency... feels like the "rakyat" doesn't have a mind of thier own to actually know how hard we are actually trying to cope up with the inflation with our LOW salary.... i wonder how we are going to finally get our own car and property when time passes.... I guess we'll hv to choose either one when the time comes.....imagine if we are orphans with no parent's support man...that will totally suck... for more info: http://www.thestar.com.my/news/story.asp?file=/2006/3/11/nation/13637374&sec=nation&focus=1

Oh well....i guess no matter what the G does, we are still going to complain to deaf ears....Malaysia citizens will still not learn the lesson and just live with how the G wants it to be... but we don't have any choice...no one would want to go to ISA for no reason rite? when will we be strong enough to actually stand up together and rally? What happened to the basic meaning of democracy? Where did the basic idea from Abraham Lincoln's qoute of "government of the people, by the people, for the people" went? I guess it went into the grave with him...But anyway, we are conquered by the English, not the Americans...so I guess it doesn't apply here...lol..

Oh well...enough of my meaningless and directionless blabblings....
Life still have to go on...
It's up to us, the upcoming and young 1's to choose our best directions...
To earn as much as we can...
To make sure that whatever the stupid G does next doesn't have a big impact on us...
And of course, to build our own family without money being the biggest issue..

That's all for now...
So i'll be waiting for my EK and my FC avatar soon i guess...
Thanks dave kor....
I'm sure you'll do a good job for me rite? hehe...choose a nice EK 1st ok...
Btw, here got quite a lot of hobby shops where can buy cheap RC cars and also real size guns of any types...my coleageus got a few and sent back to Malaysia...can even get snipers and bullets here..haha...damm...if only I have the money to get them....

A Quick Reporting

1) Ewwww wash your hands!!!
------------------------------

I think Dav's reported this before, and I've just recently... well not recently... came to notice for myself. People DON'T wash their hands after peeing... I mean the guys. =P EWWW! There was this one guy who pee'ed... and simply pulled out the toilet paper and wiped his hands! GROSS! Better watch out for the door handles/knobs. Might just get bacteria.

I am not sure why they refuse to wash... prolly dun wanna get their hands wet.

2) Monorail/LRT nightmare... from 7am - 9am.
------------------------------------------------

Personally, I've never taken monorail in the morning. But LRT? I've at least gone through 3 times of nightmares during rush hour... So packed... Such close proximity! (*Pok mong thoughts*) heh... I could practically feel the heat radiating from people's body... (Not that kind of heat!) Body heat... literally! And it gets pretty ackward when I'm squeesh between certain girls... Cause there are some sensitive types... (I've experienced that before) who practically gets bothered with such close proximities.

3) What's this crap about wearing tudung?
-------------------------------------------

I have no qualms with them. I've have some pretty good friends among them and have come to really respect a number of them. But... I HATE those who's sole intend is to spread religious propaganda at the utmost unsuitable places... school, training facilities, etc...

I've heard from my cousin that they even hinted ALL girls to wear tudung in the NS training... More like a word of encouragement. God... I am disgusted by these people.

Don't get me wrong. I repeat, I HATE all people who spreads religious propaganda, that is a very generic statements and goes to all.

4) Wanna yum cha
-------------------

Now having the mood, not sure will still have it later.

5) Wanna buy buy buy!
------------------------

So many stuffs to buy, but no money at all. Ahahahha.

6) Dreams
-----------

I find the topic about dreams pretty facinating. I could have mentioned this before, that I wish to discuss this, let's see how it goes, may yet post my thoughts about it in my upcoming posts.

7) Miss P
---------

Well, nuff said.

Take care. Love you all. Bye* Hugs*

Are you a registered voter?!

just wondering, when is the general election?! begining to hear some news about it. be expecting some heavy loads of posters and banners everywhere you look all the way till 2 months after the voting is done (actually takes them that long to take it down...sometimes even longer). was reading my daily newspapers online when i came across an article concerning posters and their purpose. "Voters would not know who to cast their ballots for if there were no posters." - the star. well, to be honest...i find that statement pure and utter rubbish. if one were doing a good job and did what he/she had promised to the voters who voted for them, they'll definately be known.

i mean...if you were a really good minister, you could just sit at home and do nothing about it and still win. people will know you for your actions and not by posters or banners. dont you all agree?! i for one, am not a registered voter and will not be registering myself till required to (if not mistaken, 3 years grace period or something like that). why you say?! simple matter of fact is...i dont intend to queue up and register myself, wake up early..queue and cast a vote to an impotent incompetant person who will just take the funds provided to his/her own benefit.

i really have no faith in my area's current minister. he's so damn lousy compared to the previous minister (Datin Hajjah Norkhaila). she was so good that the moment there was a porthole in the road, MPPJ will be all over it the very same evening. this also includes cleaning drain blockages and fixing broken lights. she was so nice till people used to wait at her house (she lives 3 houses away from me) in the mornings to ask for her assistance. the minister now (hell, i dont even know his name) however, doesnt give a rats ass about what is going on and there are so many portholes i feel like im driving a rally car everyday on my way in and out of that area. the sad part about this is, Datin Hajjah Norkhaila was removed from the area election to make way for this dude cause he was supposedly better. all i can say is, if she was running for the area again...i would gladly queue, register, wake up early and go vote!!

which brings me to my point, what are your views on voting?! does it really matter?! will your 1 vote make a major difference in the overall?! are changes needed?! oh well, whatever it is...World Cup 2006 is around the corner. though not a huge football fan...im rooting for Italy and Holland. hope SAP will use the projection TV for the finals like they did 4 years ago (so i heard)...and its obvious who their rooting as the company orginates from this year's host, Germany. back to work...ja neh~

Chain reaction...

increase in petrol and gas cost has begun to take a big effect towards alot of people. very soon, i will be considering taking public transportation liaoz. even engine oils have increased. *pengsan* but what i really pity is those bus companies. "Pan Malaysian Bus Operators Association president Datuk Dr Mohamad Ashfar Ali said the association had informed members to either continue services with losses, or reduce or shut down business if they could not sustain the cost or impose fuel surcharges to ease the burden." - the star. to make matters worse, i believe alot of people depend on such buses to commute around the city as well as back to their hometowns. major chain reaction. oh well, that's life i guess. now if only our salaries will increase as drastically and with equivalent percentage. hehehe.

KNNCCB!! "Works Minister Datuk Seri S. Samy Vellu has given his assurance that there will be no increase in highway toll rates this year." - the star. he's actually considering to increase toll charges ar?! emphasize on the last 2 words of his statement "this year!!". PKMKNNCCBTLMKCHHKC!! really begining to hate this dude man. built NPE on Old Klang Road...then put toll booths on existing roads which didnt even get widen (except the part to cater for the toll booths) or improve the road flow...it really should be on the other end...towards midvalley...where they widened the roads which was originally 4 lanes (both sides) to 8 lanes. i hope he loses his damn seat in the election.

*phew* now that the steam is out, i will be heading to Malacca this coming saturday. any recommendations?! food, attractions, places of shopping, etc...?! by the way, have fun at the Sepang Rave to those who are going. back to work...need to finish up here so i can head off to KLIA tomorrow. ja neh~

Watching the jetplane fly.

*Sigh*

P is gone...

Just feel overwhelmingly sad atm.

Today's observations...

well, today felt like doing a double entry (and i also like to see my banner!!). *bleakz* anyway, was eating lunch downstairs of Utusan Melayu at the mamak which by the way, the Maggi Goreng is excellent!! can win Taman Megah William's in terms of taste...but lose drastically in terms of portion. its actually that good...but i shouldnt be eating it too often. wont make me very different from that of vince in hongkie. hehehe.

well, during my meal...i've come to learn that people who drives eventually will become super lazy. they would rather double park and cause inconvenience to the car their blocking than to walk the extra distance. as if walking extra would kill them. saw this uncle in a merc who kept insisting he wanted to park inside the building to the security guard while the guard himself say cannot park there cause the loading lorry needed to go out. he said nevermind, he'll wait...when in fact, there was an open space just beside the building. what the fark hell man?! fat man should walk more!! but it was funny though watching him "insisting" with the guard. anyway, who am i to say anything, last resort would be to park further away if no available spot is open. but going to the extent where i'll double park or keep insisting with a guard...NEVER!! am lazy...but not that lazy...

saw something peculiar as well. while eating, i saw this lady eating plain bread and dipping the bread into her iced lime and rose syrup drink (syrup limau ais). i've seen people doing that in hot drinks like coffee, milo and occasionally tea...but a cold drink with a combination of syrup and lime?! i just dont get it. anyone else tried it?!

on a final note, im begining to get sick with the G trying to cover for their stupidity in "justifying" their reasons why petrol has been increased so drastically. come on man. stop trying to compare us with neighbouring countries that our petrol is cheaper. take it on a 1 to 1 basis for god sakes. what can you get for rm1 here and sg1 in singapore. also, everything has begun to increase but the G said "There was no rationale if car park charges and the price of a cup of teh tarik went up as a result of the higher fuel price. What’s the logic in raising car park fees? What has it got to do with the fuel price? As for teh tarik, sugar and milk are controlled items, so why should the price go up?” - the star.

i fully understand that car park rates does not increase...but i beg to differ on teh tarik. well, im not sure how the G make their teh tariks...but at mamaks/restaurants, they have to purchase the goods (which require mode of transportation running on petrol for delivery/self purchase) and boiling water (last i recalled, its done by gas and a big container of water...have yet to see them using microwave) to make the drinks. so who cares about sugar and milk being controlled items?! petrol and gas went up in price right?! oh well, nothing to do but endure, occasionally complain about the incompetence and of course, laugh through our noses watching them try to wriggle themselves out of the situation.

also, confused about why Petaling Jaya is so keen on getting its "city" status. does it mean we can expect to get road improvements?! or just the fact that our roads have become so busy to that of KL City?! what makes area qualified to become a city and what benefits would it bring if we became a city?! oh well...better stop for now. feel like i could go on this matter. ja neh~

The Hitchhiker's Guide to Taman Sri Manja...

morning everyone. today, got up as usual....didnt sleep very well though. also feel like im coming down with something. anyway, was doing the usual thing till i got in my car and started my engine. then, a rather old lady knocked on my window asking for a lift to Taman Sri Manja (which was on the way by the way). well, usually i dont pick up random women (or anyone for that matter...hehehe) but hey, what the heck since its on the way.

and so, she got into the car. started talking all the way there. saying she knew my father and he used to send her as well. "unlikely" i thought...but bought into the idea anyway. in the event of the 5 minutes, i've learned she's from a nyonya heritage, stays nearby my house, recently bought an apartment in Taman Sri Manja and wanted to check out her new place there...and err, has diabetes...but didnt get her name though...so just called her "nenek" (grandmother). it was nice...glad i sent her there too. it was quite a walk and to make matters worse...if she had walked, she had to pass the smelly area of fart death (some of you know what i mean...*yuck*).

but what astonishes me is "are hitchhikers all talkative"?! do they talk to clear up the weird atmosphere and try reassure you that they just need a lift with no hidden agenda?! or maybe its just me and my paranoia kicking in. well, fact of the matter is...though it was nice, i wouldnt want it to be a permenant daily routine. now that would just be plain weird. time to get back to work. need to finish this up before i head of to KLIA. ja neh~

PS: i will be reverting my banner back to 280(width)x65(height) as i find it weird being so long. please do necessary changes to yours, but keep the height k?! thanks. btw chian, it cant be centered (or at least i cant get it to center up). tried it last night...so only resort is to widen it till i figure it out (or someone does)...i guess.

loving the new banner

woo hoo...check out my banner... i am loving this new banner look. in fact i'm using the exact picture as my handphone's wallpaper.. got it from pinuptoons Although i keep telling my colleagues is art but they insists it is cartoon porn. haha check it out yourself..

"New" look...

welcome to the new look...well sorta. *bleakz* so bored today so decided to add a little features and tweaks here and there. to the other contributors, check your gmail and update your stuff k?! thanks. going to watch anime soon (Black Cat- episode 18) so i shall just get to the point.

firstly, DAMN YOU...NORTON!! you stupidly automatically update your damned software and screwed up my PC. had to purposedly get an external hdd (RM285 for enclosure + Samsung 40GB hdd...which gives me a total of 200GB all in all!! *woohoo*) to back up my stuff. 2ndly, DAMN YOU...WINDOWS XP SP2!! purchased a PCI USB2.0 connector so that i can use my new external hdd with it but it didnt work. why?! cause Windows XP SP2 doesnt support the driver!! ishh...

solution for the 2 problems, use McAfee and survive on USB1.1 for now. *sniff* oh well, anime time...ja neh~

PS: managed to learn some javascript today. hehehe...also, check out the footer right at the bottom of the page. why does it say that...cause idiots keep coming to this site via those searches. *pengsan*

Underworld: Evolution

-- Plagued with a rather weak storyline, and some plots holes. A sleeper hit nonetheless! Lots of gore --

It was a rather spontaneous decision to go watch the movie and foil my supposedly well planned/reluctant Sunday activity. I could regret it tomorrow but what the hell. Anyways, I did call a few candidates for the movie... though I didn't get any response... so went alone eventually. Ahaha...

Oh yeah, SPOILERS ahead. So highlight the text below if you have watched the movie or are just too desperate to learn the roots before uprooting them yourself.

The story takes place IMMEDIATELY where the first one left off. Serene and Michael are running from the corvenant, seeking refuge from Krevan's team at large. She intends to awaken Marcus, the last surviving elder, to expose the deceit that is Victor. However, at the end of Underworld, a Lycan's blood flowed through the very cracks of Marcus's Hybdernation cell, coursing its blood into his veins, and thus Marcus awakens... very ill tempered indeed. He learns the truth, and after extracting memories from Krevan's blood, decapitates him.

It seems that Marcus knows the truth about Victor's deceit, and though his intentions weren't clear at first, Serene then finds out that he never intended to live with the Covenant after all and his very goal is to free his Lycan brother, William from eternal imprisonment.

So that's as far as storyline goes... Serene's quest to stop Marcus's and William's rampaging. Her past is briefly revealed. But nothing whole lot complicating to keep me interested. There is some interesting link between the 2 blood brothers, though not explained throughoughly.

Aspects that I like about the movie:

1) SEX SCENES! Hubba hubba... Btw Serene and Michael. And a threesome btw 3 vampires. =P Though cencored, I will definitely be getting the DVD version.

2) Coowl action Scenes.

3) Lots of gore!

4) Marcus! Love the way he uses the frame of this wings to impale unexpecting victims. Though I am so interested to see how he decapitates his victims. Damn censorship board censored it.

5) Michael. Ahahha... *kawaii*

6) Victor's short but sweet screen presence.

What I hated about the movie:

1) Rather weak storyline...

2) Michael's hybrid qualities never explored further. Though I kinda think the producers never meant to delve deeper into that.

3) A mistake in the dialogue... marking Marcus as a hybrid... which doesn't make sense. Though only mentiond once... in a form of a question.

4) The base cause of the war between vampire and lycans... never really explained as well. It seems more that this war was solely wage by Victor. Due to the uncontrollable and violent nature of the initial Lycans, Victor, being the Tyrant he was in life, wanted to ensure that they are kept on his leash.

5) They should have fueled Serene's and Michaels love deeper... it MAY seem like a joke in this movie.

6) Doesn't give hints that there's gonna be another sequel... There's nothing left to explain, since both bloodlines lost their forefathers. Who knows.

Overall, this movie gets a 3/5. Pretty coowl.

That's as far as review goes... Back to real life.

I am rather saddened by the fact that P's leaving this coming Tues. And yet I have no intention of seeing P yet... or ever... All I can do is call P up... and it upsets me bad that P doesn't respond the way I'd hope... Oh well... sigh... Have to leave with that... All the best to you P... Love you alot... though... its waning as the years past...

I might regret tomorrow... for not doing something today... *Prays*... Hope I can gau dim...

Bought Ace Combat 5. A jet fighter game. A new genre for me to explore.

I hate my apartment gym atm... no fan, no air con... it's stuffy like hell.

Just spayed my dog... She's very inactive now. Kinda worries me an exact opposite to her usual behavior.

My apartment seems more complete then ever, thanks to parents. It's simple, yet reasonably equipped.

That's all for now. Love you guys *Hugs*

And go ---- your ---

I was so pissed, but it was a long time ago and I still felt mad and disappointed but I forgot the reason. It was time to move on. But then I remembered what it was all about again today. Why? I was disappointed again. I remembered why I didn't bother anymore, because ignorance is bliss, until it turns to negligence.

Hais, don't know la. Can't be bothered anymore already. Damn sick of all the BS and lies. If you think I'm that stupid, then I'll be stupid for you. Because from now on this is what you are going to get, a stupid friend. So don't expect anything from a stupid person.

And go ---- your ---.

no brainer

Ok, did anyone see the video I posted on breast cancer?

Some people can be such an ignorant jerk. I bet he is one of those rich itchy dick head play boy that sadly have very big EGO, low IQ... and knows very very little general knowledge. Ish.

As a female, I feel so damn insulted. I can't believe that a serious topic like breast cancer can turn out to just to be a "Singaporean girls are flat chested" topic for him. Ish. I know so many people who suffered\is suffering\died of breast cancer. It's no topic to laugh about.

I didn't really want to insult any of my readers, but for this guy, no face given. ....then again, he already insulted himself by being such a low lifer and no brainer.

Sleeping for bout 4-5 hours a day or lesser and waking up at 4.30 am and just rolling around on the bed watching tv or looking at the ceiling till work @ 8am...
The temp is at a low of 8-9 degrees today....not feeling very cold though...just feels like Genting in a way...still can wear shorts and eating ice cream in the middle of the nite....

Been missing my other half so much...din know it will be this bad....
feeling so low to a certain extend...can't find anything else to compromise this dull feeling...
looking for alternatives....but the cost is very high....
planning to fly back to KL just to look for her......dat's how bad it is for me now..

I really duno how I'm going to last till April...feeling so uneasy...so lost.....the sense of security felt like it got blown off and I just can't find it back...since the day i met her....she's alwiz with me everyday...but it has been more den 3 weeks now since she has been by my side..
Am i being immature, am i being silly or am i just weak?

Maybe it's a good test for us or rather...for me...but at times...it really suck...feels as though I'm losing control over certain things.....which was never a new part of me that I never really liked. Maybe i'm not so emotiionally/mentally strong after all. Or maybe she really meant more than I ever thought all this while. I ain't in control now... Those feelings are wrapping up the sense in me till it's condemning me.

At times like this, I'm really grateful I never took up any overseas jobs that might have made this into a permanent long distance relationship. At times like this, the mind can wander beyond the logical sense and changes things into the part where one worries most, and that's what I am in now, unfortunately.

I know she can't read this...coz she doesn't know the existence of this blog....but no matter...still gona be spill it here....at least I still have a medium to go to...

我 很 想 你. 我 很 爱你. 我 想 要 见 到 你. 很 想 要 流 眼 类.
给 我 利 可 见 到 你 老 婆.

Anyway, any how, this is going to haunt me for quite some time... should i overcome it or let the feelings devour me piece by piece...Either way, I also won't like it... I still prefer if she is by my side now, and I'm able to hold her hands, hug her, kiss her and tell her I LOVE YOU!
Hong Kong ain't a Pearl of Orient to me now....that's for sure...
