I know I know... first impression you'll think "Aiyor what movie is this....? Don't want to watch la". But when I was queuing up... waiting 30 minutes to buy my ticket, I caught the trailer on the TV.
WOW! I have got to watch this movie.
And I did.
I don't want to give out spoilers. You just have to watch it for yourself. Brilliant movie! I'm surprised that the movie board didn't censor some parts of the movie too. I could see butt and boobs!
In order to assure the highest levels of quality work and productivity from employees, it will be our future policy to keep all employees well trained through our new program of SPECIAL HIGH INTENSITY TRAINING (S.H.I.T.)
We are trying to give our employees more S.H.I.T. than anyone else. And if you feel that you do not receive your share of S.H.I.T., please see your supervisor. You will be immediately placed at the top of the S.H.I.T. list, and our supervisors are especially skilled at seeing you get all the S. H. I. T. you can handle
Employees who don't take their S. H.I.T. seriously will be placed in DEPARTMENTAL EMPLOYEE EVALUATION PROGRAMS (D.E.E.P.S.H.I.T.)
Those who fail to take D.E.E.P. S.HI.T seriously will have to go to EMPLOYEE ATTITUDE TRAINING (E.A.T.S.H.I.T .)
And since our supervisors took S.H.I.T before they were promoted, they don't have to take S.H.I.T anymore, and are all full of S.H.I.T already. So if you are full of S.H.I.T, you may be interested in a job teaching others. And we can add your name to our BASIC UNDERSTANDING LEADERSHIP LIST ( B.U.L.L.S.H.I.T).
Thank you, ( BOSS IN GENERAL, SPECIAL HIGH INTENSITY TRAINING ) (B.I.G.S.H.I.T)
I don't know the person's name... so let's just call the person k...
My last day at Pru is tomorrow... I am happy to finally leave Pru...
But I am really really sad because I could never see k again...
K sits just behind me, and every day I would take a peek-peek just to get a glimpse of the k-ness... for the entire year. Since... May 2006... The first time I saw k... my heart melted...
Sigh*... I hope I get to meet k next time... and be friends... I hope... I wish... I pray...
Gonna miss k... haiz... k... is just... really k...
My mom's just got back from SGP, and she's brought back a gift...
Behold... the Sony Ericsson W700i Phone. It costs at about S$300++ (Not sure what's the price here).
My first impression was... urgh... Haven't the cell phone craze died off?
For the past few months my idiot brother has been persuading me to get a new phone, again and again and again... and each time I would bla him off. Truth be told, I never was interested in cell phones, I'm more inclined towards console gamin related gadgetries/software.
Anyways, damaged done... Err... I should say... Thanks mom! But I wanna pay you back, cause this ain't something I want... I would rather spend the cash on paying PS3 instalment, or something much more useful.
Guys, don't see me as ungreatful... cause I ain't ungreatful... just not enthusiastic.
Oh well, at least I've got some gadgets to tinker with. Lol... I am so so so way behind when it comes to phones... might be intersting to rape the phone a lil' during he weekend. ;-P
well, had an outing to FRIM with Nick, Kwang and Chian on saturday, 24th march. it was fun, lets do it again some time...but errmm...minus the heavy lunch yea?! pictures and a more detailed entry here. enjoy!!
I cannot cannot absolutely unbelievably cannot believe that I've agreed to going for this movie.
I have vowed never to ever step in to any Korean/Thailand/Indonesia/Japanese (Except Malay, lol... those movies I would definitely not even venture if it's the last thing playin in cinemas) horror movies. They sucked, they come out in an 'oh c'mon laaaaa' frequency every month, and most of the time leave me rolling my eyes.
The only reason why I would even go for this is because of my cousins. Originally intending to watch Mr. Bean (Another 'ohhh pleaseeee the humanity!!!' kinda movie in my list), but surprisingly tickets were all sold out even the midnight show...
Our choices were between '9:56' and 'Pan's Labryinth'. Perhaps the latter would make a better one. In any case, cineleisure has this silly policy where they are unable to exchange tickets once they print them. Kinda silly policy. Especially when you're just 5 minutes away from your last purchase. Dumb ass.
Don't even get me fit out on their concession stand, pretty suck products and service. I got pissed when the total of RM20 worthed of food and drinks came out sucky from the counter. I immediately demanded them to change the snacks.
Ahhh cineleisure... eventually it would just turn out like shit (Looking at most TGV outlets) due to 'you know what' management. Oh well.
Ohh... I have been ranting and ranting about the complex... let's get to the movie.
First thing that already gave in that the movie's gonna suck is during the opening credits.
Presented by 'Toilet Productions'. Literally...
Does that even tell you anything?! What production company would actually name their company 'Toilet Productions'?!!
9:56 is about a bitchy bitter ghost who kills tenants in her apartment building because she was isolated, uncared for and taken advantage when she was alive.
Not gonna go into details, let's just say the writing is weak as hell and the one liners, stereotypical characters just don't cut it anymore!!!
What's with Asian Ghost and Long black haired, covers your face, constant having vibrating seizures?! C'mon man... it's all been there done that... try something new!
Anyways, the audience were yerrrr, woooo, AHHH!!! (Shrieks*). Their reactions were much more scarier than the movie. >.<
Another lesson I learned, nv take cousins who are 10 years younger than you in an outing... man... Unless they've passed the 20 year old mark... Sigh* A blast of a time? No... a waste of money...? Hell yeah!
Ohhh ohhh! I finished God of War 2!!!! *Gives a sunshine smile*
He was in front of me, so he pushed the door open. Since there were people at the back, anyone would usually push the door wider for those at the back. He looked back and there was a moment of award silence... I smiled la. Tak kan stare cock meh.
I didn't it was that bad. The movie was meant to be a family/kids movie. It's not some Shreak cartoon lah. If you had that in mind when you watched it, of course you are in for a big disappointment. The movie is meant for parent-kid bonding... and really brings back my innocent childhood days where movies like this will be in one of my favorite list.
I wanted to watch Charlotte's Web because I read the book. Yup, I do enjoy reading kids books sometimes. Something different from my Anne Rice, Dan Brown, John Grisham and all. If the Wee Free Men is made into a movie.. will catch that too!
Not going to talk much....just going to let the pics do the talking....hehe.....

Although this speaks some truth, many of us ladies knows our own body. Back when I was lean, people used to say "Hey, you should eat more" and all stuff like that. I started to feel the stress, and force myself to eat more, to eat more often.
If you are someone like me, my advice is just to look at yourself. You know your body and others don't.
When I started to pile up on the spare tire, people do not notice because it's already embedded in their head that "Hey she can afford to eat more because she is skinny". I knew I was getting fatter... putting on weight the very unhealthy way. My clothes grew small... or I grew big. I went up a size... but yet people don't see it. Why? Cos "Yeah right, you are still so skinny"
I have to wear loose clothes to hide that in fact I'm having these clumps of fat here and there. Yet people still think "Yeah right, she is still skinny". It's just peoples' physco.
I'm up a size right now. Feeling very unhealthy and fat and stressed out. I'm ill. I'm rounded in the face, arms and legs. I unhealthy weight all over. And I'm really sick of this.
Go on, call me skinny because I'm not anymore. I sick of people telling me what I am not. I'm petite to start with, have light bones and a skinny frame. I was happy when I was "skinny". I was lean, minimal fat and toned muscles.
It's going to be so damn hard to get back to where I was. The habit of snacking and being a glutton is stuck to me. But I'm going to try. I just wish that people see me the way I see myself and stop give me all the roll eyes about me. If you comment is not encouraging, please save it for yourself.
Went for photoshooting at Pulau Ketam on Sunday. In summary...I almost got rundown by bicycles (chances of getting killed here by 1 very high), got sunburned to a point it hurts even when i try to sleep and I've learned to appreciate civilization alot more after that. Also, there are no cars moving around as roads were no bigger than a width of a Kancil. So mode of transportation was mainly bicycles (motorized for some) and very few motorcycles (close to none existent). In any case, will let pictures speak for themselves. Link for it is here.
300 is a good movie. It lacks complexity in terms of storyline, those of you who are well versed in greek history should know what the entire premise is about. Though I must admit, the movie over-exeggerates the event, and with GREAT STYLE.
I must warn you though, this movie is not for the faint of heart. IT'S DAMN FUCKING VIOLENT!
After watching it, I'm kinda fond of Frank Miller graphical novel style movies. I am considering getting Sin City just to get the feel of his previous work. It's that good!
Overall, 4/5. It totally kept me on the edge of my seat throughout!
Ok, yeah I know you guys are bored with Spidey 3 stuff. But trust me, the below (7-minute preview) which was previously described by IGN.com, showcases a full fight scene between Peter and Harry. You don't want to miss it. But if you are afraid of spoilers, look somewhere else then. Enjoy!
I bought a new PC and having to install everything back is such a pain. All my bookmarks are gone. Boo hoooo!
Got extract my stuff from the old hard disk too.
So ma farn!!!
Kind of don't like my motherboard. My mistake of getting in. Sucks that I can only have to devices with IDE. ... I only have one IDE slot on my motherboard. One for the burner... and the other for the rom. The stupid cable can't reach the hard disk. ARHGHGHGH.
Stoooopid stoooopid.
Have to plug and unplug... ish ish.
Oh and my kong kong doing well. He's getting better day by day. He manage to gargle today!
Colourful + Colourful + Colourful = My eyessss!!!!! My brain cells!!!!!!!
1) Colourful
One heck of a dysfunctional family.
My eyes!!! The sets are so full of vibrant colours my eyes and brains are overclocking just to comprehend what's within a single frame.
2) Colourful
I swear hers were about to pop out in few scenes...
All that boobies... I swear some of the leads' were gonna popped out!
3) Colourful
There is something very 'unsettling' about this pic. Just remember boys and girls, before you sleep with someone, just do a background check, who the heck your partner is.
A highly dysfunctional royal family. Each and everyone are plagued with stupidity. Omg, I've had some hopes for Jay Chou's character, but in the end... he too succumbed to dumb military tactics. The death of his troops was his undoing. How can someone be so fucking dumb as to march against squadrons and squadrons of well armed imperial army in the heart of the palace without as much as defending with shields? Perhaps his suicide is so justified in the end. Good for you! =P
Prince Jai, you should've at least gotten yourself and honourable death in battle. You inevitable end was just parthetic!
Damn... When I first saw the trailer, I was so taken up with the slow-motion ness of Chow Yun Fart... whoops* Fatt's long hair flowing to the back. But in the end, Zhang Yi Mou's execution of a so-called epic sinks so low that it has totally shaken my fate from HKG/CHI produced movies.
Is there some sort of hidden meaning to this movie...? Ermm like... Incest anyone?
Hasn't any HKG/CHI producers think of their past movies? Those are truly classics!
hey people...im currently blogging here. if you do have a multiply account...please add me. biggest reason im blogging there, everything is there and there's unlimited space for me to upload my pictures as well. hehehe. hope to see you guys around.
Very very tired... just got back from Penang. It sorta was a happy/depressing trip. Guess some of you might know why. Anyways, I've got some satisfaction because made it there before CNY ended and the 15th day always seem big in Penang.
Anyways, a summary and some photos.
Saturday
Took off from the old KTM railway station at about 10am by PLUSLINER. Small seats. Reached Penang at about 2.30pm.
Checked in into G-hotel (By the way, more info at http://www.ghotel.com.my), which is a brand new hotel next to Gurney Plaza, at about 3pm. Stroll around the G-plaza for a while. Bathed and made a trip to Grandma's.
Had dinner at the open-air hawker centre located next to Gurney Plaza. Abundance of good food and some not too good food. Sorry, no pictures of this cause didn't bring the cam out.
Wanted to watch Premival (Giant croc) movie at 12pm but sorta dozed off whilst waiting.
Sunday
Dim sum breakfast located in btw Gurney hotel and G-hotel. A so-so affair.
Then preps for lunch with uncle and aunt at a nearby Chinese restaurant. Yet again, a mediocre affair. After that, headed to Grandma's to spend the rest of the day.
Night, dinner at same hawker's stall.
Monday
Dropped by at Grandma's about 8.30am. Stayed for 10 minutes then left for the bus station. The bus took off at 10am and voila. Now back home at 3pm.
Overall, did not have fun in Penang. It was by all means not a holiday trip to begin with. But I did get to see a lot of kkkkkkkkkk people, winks* winks*. Would like to just walk up and smooch them. ahehe... Can't blame me... they're just to kkkkkkkkkkkk.
I wished that things were different... for her and for the rest... it breaks my heart so much that I am unable to make a difference... now... or even... ever... I guess, the most I can do is to make frequent trips back to Penang...
Sigh... so much in my mind now... and I've got my own issues to contend with also.
Hope the days ahead do lighten up. Prayers do help.
Note that the hotel is brand new. Only opened for about a month and majority of its facilities are still under fine-tuning.
Firstly, I didn't quite like the entrance way of the hotel. They pride themselves as a 4-star facility, but the frontal facade just don't show it. For God's sake the hotel name is a simple 'G' and it's small as spec of dust from afar.
Noticed the g sign... that's a as big as it gets for patrons to identify.
I did quite like the lobby design though. It's simple, got this contemporary, dimmed kinda deco. And it's got a HUGE space for patrons to lounge around.
To the right of the reception desk is a bar. Cute eh?
Spooky lift corridor.
Corridor to our room (Hehe... there's something very k about this pic winks* winks*).
Pool area from the 8th floor.
By the way, the hotel has got this interesting U-shape to its structure. There are altogether 19 floors if I remember correctly, and each floor holds 25 rooms. However, at this point only 11 floors are occupiable, the rest is still under some maintenance. The rooms are average at best. Let the pix speak for themselves.
The room where 'muffins' are made.
The room where 'chocolate puddings' are made.
Our room has got a nice view to Gurney Drive's water front... However, due to ecological changes... the view is no longer desirable. More about that later.
Be dazzled by the street lights below every night.
The hotel has got an embarassing gym whereby it's subbed with a living quarters on the fourth floor. Consisting of only a threadmill and a exe-bike. I was told that the real spa's not ready yet.
Overall, I give it a deserving 3/5 rating. I still prefer Gurney hotel anytime anywhere.
For more on the pricing, and the rooms available, go to G-hotel.com.my
Gurney Drive waterfront
I was shocked to witness the current sorry state Gurney drive is in at the moment... Instead of small waves knocking by the coast, we are now greeted by murkey surfaces as far as the eye can see! See for yourselves.
In short, Gurney drive certainly has loss its charm... and it's about to get worse.
Saturday 3pm. You can still see the tide near the coast line.
Sunday 7am. The tide is no where to be seen in this frame. All the water has been diverted further out to sea. And I used to think high tide comes in late night till dawn?
Some more Spidey stuff I've come acrossed with. New footage, Animatics, etc...
