Really bad progress.

Another 2 months, and no progress from where I left off since my last post.

The only thing that's changed is my work out routine.

1) I barely workout daily now a days. The only up side is that I increased my cardio (steppers) to 30 minutes from the original 20 minutes. But weights are dropped to just 3 sets each per session.

2) Rarely swim.

3) And I am not so strict with my food intake. In terms of quantity.

This is really bad progress. I was hoping to at least drop till 90kg by now.

Gotta work harder in the ensuing months.

Fitness Monitoring Day 37: 27th September 2011

I feel sick this morning, but still compelled to sweat a little. My viral infection (Caused by a combination of things, triggered by severe food poisoning) was at its peak the last 2 days, and for that I missed out 2 full days of workout.

A very interesting morning, I saw a late 60's grandma operating a treadmill. I was worried at first, she was quite bulky, and slow moving, but nevertheless was pretty impressed when she got the thing started at the very least. Even more impressed seeing her do a short face-paced walk. This granny rocks. (Sigh~ Thinking about this reminds me of my late grandma in Penang, but more about that some other time, when I am able to fully come to terms on her passing).

Back to fitness monitoring. The last I checked, my weight has dropped to 96-97 kg. It's a total of more than 10 kg since I started exercising more than half a year back. My vigorous gym routine started like about a month ago, however, prior to that my swimming routine started the weight loss, and did give me significant results. It's just that after nearly 10 kg, swimming alone just didn't quite cut it any more. I was advised by a colleague/fitness instructor that sweating is the key.

Overall, I am quite happy with the results I have achieved, and am still working hard to further lose weight. My body has started taking better shape, and that in turn has done quite well to boost my overall confidence.

The only sad part is that I had to reduce my gym routine. My body could not take the strain and I am constantly feeling fatigue. Previously I opted to go for 2 gym sessions per day. Each with the equal amount of exercise routines. Then I started reducing it about a week ago, and now I think... it's feasible to just do the whole thing once a day. I think it should be plenty enough without compromising my health.

Shall continue to work hard, eat well, etc... Also, I hope to get all other aspects of my life back in shape. Right now, I lack balance in a lot of other departments.

On a side note, I started exploring my sexuality of late. My latest adventure was venturing into a gay sauna/spa nearby.

A gay sauna/spa is not like conventional ones where clients get pampered by a myriad of rejuvenating offerings like massages, face lifts, etc... In short, it's a place where normal gay guys would gather... and have sex with each other.

I have heard of these spas before, but only in Singapore. For some time, I wanted to just go to the place and open my eyes, but going all the way to Singapore just for that is a tad silly. It would make a really expensive affair too. After some research and by word of mouth, I found one nearby. And off I went on a Sunday afternoon. Even when my viral infection was taking effect.

There are daily themes for the spa. On Sunday, all patrons are required to either don only underwear/swimwear/of if they are so bold, nothing at all. For MYR 25 (If you're a first time member, you need to pay MYR 10 for a lifetime membership fee), you are provided a condom/a small pack of lube and a small towel (Just the size of a loin cloth). You are also provided a locker key to store your belongings.

The rule is that you have to strip down into the conditioned attire. For me, it was just my speedo swim/gym shorts. I looked at myself in the mirror and was actually quite happy with my body shape. Off I went pass the shower room.

The place was dimmed. And I saw a couple of men sitting around with just their small towel covering their dicks. They were in shaped. The shower room is segregated into hot/cold shower areas. Each with 2-3 shower heads. There's also a mini bar where patrons can order light snacks and drinks. On that very same floor, there's also a mist room and a really dark room (Not sure what's the purpose of said dark room), and a leisure room, where patrons can surf the net or watch gay porn being played.

Then I ventured 1 floor down, where the action supposedly takes place. It was really dark down there, and the music was blaring. There's a 'gym' room (Though it lacks any sort of equipment other than a sit up bench), and a lot of 'private' rooms (Stalls really, and the size of fitting rooms like the ones found in clothing boutiques) where men would do their thing.

The crowd was still light the time I arrived, however, it started growing half an hour through. Lots of men started pouring in, most of them who were in shaped, and some who weren't. There were a couple of old dudes, but mostly young guys my age/some younger.

Throughout I just sat alone @ the gym room. The room was rarely occupied, I figured I would get peace of mind there. Most of the guys would hang out at the corridors leading towards the private rooms, waiting to be 'off-ed'. It was interesting, Malaysian men are indeed the shy bunch, most of them would take their 'adventures' into the private rooms. None would do it in the open.

In short, I really wasn't interested to get into any sort of action that day, after hanging out for about an hour and a half, I left. I wasn't even sure if any guys were signaling me. My radar was tuned off that day. Heck, I saw some hot ones that I would normally be interested in, but I just didn't get high throughout my stay there, didn't get a boner even.

Does this mean I am not gay after all? Or am I just not into casual sex with random men? Not sure, but all in all, it was a good eye opener for me.

Upper Arm Tattoo

Never really been a fan of tattoos as far as I can remember. Why would anyone wanna ruin their perfect bodies with graphics on their skin?

What if you grow old and your body starts sagging? Wouldn't the tattoos look fugly then?

That is, until now. I kinda changed my mind, at least for certain kind of tattoos.

I have been thinking of getting one for my right upper arm, with some sort of tribal design around it. In my opinion it's really hot, I just get turned on seeing a shirtless guy with it. There's just something about the whole upper arm with an encircling tattoo that gives me a mind-orgasm. I would totally fuck the guy with one (Of course certain other conditions apply lol)

What do you think? An example below (Of course I wouldn't want anything else other than that mentioned.).

Fitness Monitoring Day 1: 22nd August 2011

Note: This isn't me. haha. But I hope I would have that bod next time. AND a man like that. Lol.

I have been swimming vigorously (well, by my standards of course, don't compare me with the professionals LOL!) for almost half a year now. Although I did lose 'some' weight, the entire endeavor had come to a stand still after sinking to a particular weight (I shan't reveal cause it's embarassin! Lol).

So now I have taken the advice of a few (Yes, Nick and Dav included) and hitting the tracks and gyms. the key to losing weight now is to do a lot of cardio and sweat excessively).

Thus far I have been consistent for nearly a week. There isn't much progress yet, but I have so far been able to condition my mind to work through the regime I have set for myself, slowly increasing the duration and intensity while I am at it.

The most important factor to any successful workout is fashioning your mind and adapting to the discomforts of initially picking up on a workout. I was never the type of guy who enjoys running nor gym-ming. My previous efforts in going through the gyming process has proven very unsuccessful due to the constant strain I would obtained from each workout, I would give up midway and be on a long term hiatus, till my membership nullifies.

All-in-all it was a waste of time and money. And I didn't even lose a single kg after going through rather 'consistently' for a month. To be fair, I have not been controlling my food intake very well that time, so that too attributed to the stagnant weight.

After all that, I have successfully implanted the consistency I need to go through my swimming routine. I started out swimming 30 laps in the 25 meter pool, then increased it to 50, and lastly to 100. All the while not once wanting to quit.

It's fair to say that now I have cultivated an urge to power through my daily workout. Moving on, I am doing something totally I hate doing the last time, running and gyming (via my condo's facilities). It's been good so far, I would now wake up at 5.30am in the morning to start my routine.

First, running around the pool for about 20-30 minutes, that would cover a rough 2 km. Yeah I know it's not much, but it keeps the heart pumping and most importantly, I sweat like hell. A good warm up I would say. Followed by 3 * 30 ab crunches (Upper and lower abs each) spaced out in between, 3 * 30 chest presses (butterfly and vertical chest presses each) and 10 minutes on the stepper machine.

The entire workout took me at the least an hour.

I repeat, it's not much. But for now I am happy that I am being consistent, and I shall amped up my workout with a mixture of other routines soon. I even tried doing this twice a day (Once in the morning, and once at night after work), but I got so drained in the end, almost fell sick for over-doing it. I guess I need to limit myself a little bit until my body is able to fully accept what's to come. I would probably do this on Fridays and Saturdays.

On a side note:

Working out at 5am in the morning is actually pretty... liberating. I would normally run and gym shirtless. There's just something very sexual through the entire affair. Especially when hitting the machines (Particularly chest presses), I noticed the Nepalese guard at the registration booth sneeking peeks each time I flex my chest muscles, and to be honest, I kinda like the attention.

It would all be so much better if my body has reached its peak condition. This would intensify the whole feeling of working out shirtless. And most importantly, the confidence gained from all that would just be so awesome. I wouldn't shy away doing it in a crowd next time.

Currently eye-ing a man named Tom (not sure if it's a real name) frequently gyming between 8pm - 9.30pm. He's chinese, man-ly looks and most importantly a smoking hot body (Saw him doing bench presses shirtless once). So far I haven't the courage to say hi, but it would come to that soon, I hope.

Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Part 2

My rating of the movie in facebook of 6/5 was pre-mature. I based it on the russian audio version I flipped through one night. After watching the full English version, I was rather disappointed with how little exposition there was in regards to many unanswered questions throughout the series.

Many key scenes in the booked were left out completely from the movie. There were so many pointless moments E.g. the purgatory King-cross station scene with Dumbledore speaking in riddles rather than explaining events. Wasted moments.

Other than coowl action sequences, the finale was rather lackluster. They could have amped up the emotion.

Now looking back at Part 1 and 2, I would say the split was done as a major cash cow. There's no other explanation to it.

Deathly Hallows as a whole. 3.5/5.

I did enjoy the Neville Longbottom scenes. He's such a bad ass in his own right! And the major hottie of the movie!

Dream Chronicles: Glee

First off... you just need to tell yourself that this is a reboot of the series, no matter what the producers claim. There's just too many continuity problems to even think that this is a true prequel. I won't even bother listing the plot holes.

Now that we have established the above, I would just like to say First Class is an AWESOME movie! I give it a 6/5. The highest I have ever given any movie.

There's just too many hot guys to set your sights upon. Michael Fassbender's Magneto is just TOO Delicious!

Thor

I was expecting the movie to be of same calibre as the Iron man franchise, but sadly, it's more joke than humanization of the characters.

The Good

1) Excellent Special Effects through and through.

2) I like Loki's actor. He shows good emotions in his scenes. Potrays a character conflicted and tormented, leaving in the shadow of his brother, Thor.

3) Chris Hemsworth (Thor) is really an eye-candy. Boy is he built like a tower!

4) Jeremy Reiner as hawkeye cameo was coowl to watch. Looking forward to more of him in the Avengers.

5) I like the black guy character guarding the Bifrost gate in between worlds. Very intimidating with those contacts, and powerful.

The Bad

1) Natalie Portman miscast as Jane. Rather bad acting from her side. It's more fun and games than a serious character.

2) Lack of humanization. Thor's character went from arrogant, selfish to learning and accepting humility in almost an instance... which is poor character building in my opinion.

3) The big finale battle is a tad cheesy. Featuring a super weapon killing the hero, and then the hero comes back to life, and beats the crap out of the weapon. The should have had more variety for the final showdown.

4) Useless sidekicks. They should have explored their skills a tad more. (Although I did like the sword wielding man with a mustache and light beard guy... there's one scene featuring him almost shirtless, where his pectoral cleavage was revealed... HOT)

5) Anthony Hopkins did his part (Although I would rather Odin be recast). They should have explored his character a bit more, and his relationship between Thor and Loki. That would make the rivalry all the more convincing.

At the end of the day, this only passes as a popcorn summer movie. 2.5/5.

As a belated birthday outing... I headed to Tenji 2 @ Puchong for lunch. Never mind that I had to shell out cash from my own pocket for the outing.

The Good

- There is quite a number of variety.

A section for assorted sushies and Japanese appetizers
2 main sections for main course. There are food ready for the pickin, and also some where you place tags labeled with your table number into collection bowls, and the food gets prepared fresh and delivered to you.
A steamboat corner (Offer a variety of processed food stuff and sea food. All you need to do is carry the hot pot and portable stove to your table)
And a dessert/drinks section. Note that free flow of coconut is only available during weekends. Whereas in the weekdays you are only entitled to 2 per customer. Oh and, there's a chocolate fountain for your indulgence.
Oh yeah, there's also a seperate menu for you to order some other food. There's italian, thai food inside among the choices. But don't try the green curry chicken... kinda lousy.

- Good service overall. I love that waiter who attended to us. Very friendly and not too bad looking. Also, he's always there to recommend stuff to us, which is a plus side. Most waiters wouldn't give a damn.

- We were there mainly to sample the steam codfish. Having these alone would give you a good run for your money. Sadly, today this was not on the menu. BUT... the cook who attended to our enquiry was SUPERBLY NICE enough to secretly prepare some for us. OMG... this was REALLY one of 2 highlights of visiting Tenji today. a VERY PLEASANT surprise indeed. And he's not bad looking. haha. ;-) I couldn't thank him enough.

- Half off for senior citizens above 50.

The Bad

- Just like Shogun, the food quality isn't really at its freshest. And there were quite a number of repeated dishes. Too bad I couldn't sample the better stuff, like crabs and prawns. But according to one patron, the seafood aren't exactly that fresh neither. well, it's definitely not expired or anything like that, just not right out from the catch.

- I paid MYR 60.5 nett for myself. Which is kinda over priced given the variety of food I can take. Good thing is that there is actually a 50% discount for senior citizens above 50.

- Certain parts smelled funky. I guess it's all those raw oysters/seafood @ the appetizer bar. Not exactly the place to pass through when you are stuffed to the brim. The worst thing is that you HAVE to walk past that area as it is the only entrance/exit of the restaurant.

- The cawamushi was pretty bad.

Overall... and ok-ok experience. Just kinda irritated that I get the blame for bringing someone there just because she couldn't stop stuffing herself... "Needs to make my money's worthed" urgh... I swear I heard that phrase more than 10 times.

You had the power for change, and yet you chose the easy way out. I wouldn't say I am surprised also. All I will say to them is... PADAN MUKA. A Room Full of Naked Men

I was in China for a short trip.

One evening I decided to head to a sports centre not far from where I stayed. It took about 10 minutes walk.

The sports centre was rather huge. So far I spotted an 8-court badminton centre and a 4-lane olympic sized indoor pool.

My intention was to head to the pool area. I shelled out 3 yuan for a cheap swimming cap (I supposed it's being used given it's tattered state) and 20 yuan for using the pool. The entrance was through the men's changing room. I walked in... not knowing what to expect... or... did I?

Immediately I got a shock of my life!... well, the more accurate expression would be... DELIGHT of my life when I saw a young handsome chinese man walking towards his locker right in front of me... FULLY NAKED! I couldn't believe my eyes... My sight started from his toned body right down to his unerected manhood, surrounded by reasonable amount of bush... I believed my vision was locked onto that region for a full 2-3 seconds... before I moved on... pretending to be discrete... while my heart was pumping REALLY hard. This was the first time I have ever seen a naked man in the flesh.

I walked around... looking for the entrance to the pool area... but as far as my eyes can see, there's only the shower room, and a shared steam room filled with naked guys! My heart was racing really quick... As far as my mind is concerned... I am in heaven... All sorts of dirty thoughts filled my mind.

After 2-3 minutes of uneventful loitering, I managed to find my way to the actual pool area. The water was actually warm, steam filled the room. And the place was watched after by 2 good looking life guards, whom were regrettably NOT SHIRTLESS that time... which was a disappointment.

I left the place eventually for 2 reasons...

1) The pool was too packed... I wanted to do my laps, not waste my time avoiding traffic.

2) I was too shy to be around good looking men with my current... erm... state... and I was worried my gay instincts were gonna cause some ruckus in a room full of naked men... Yeah... that's basically how sexually charged I am right now...

It was a good experience overall. Would definitely love to make a visit again... and this time... to be more natural and blend in with the crowd, probably I would get more satisfaction that time. ;-)

Crysis 2

Initially this was not in my must-have list. Only during its last few weeks of promotional-hyped, did I get excited for the title.

And after playing nearly 3 hours through the game, here's my verdict:

The Good

- Interesting storyline. Set piece involves an embattled New York city.

- Good graphics, well... if you look at it as an overall picture. With plenty of fine details thrown into the environment for good measure

- Overall, the performance is admirable. No screen tearing, overall steady framerate with only visible drops that still does not affect frantic gun battles that badly.

The Bad

- Glitchy AI. Sometimes borders to being brain dead. Sometimes you can just stand in front of the enemy NPC and they would just walk past you.

- Technical glitch to the graphics, lots of pop-in.

Overall, a 3/5. The good outweights the bad, so it's a satisfying experience overall.

Update (16th April 2011- 8pm)

The AI is really SHIT. And it's really killing the mood of the game.

I am therefore gonna drop the score to 2.5/5.

It's one thing to spend hundreds of MYR on a game...

It's another to spend money on DLC content for the game you already have.

But it's totally BULLSHIT to spend money on DLC unlock key for content that is already present on disc!

MYR50 bye-bye for Jill and Shuma Gorath... and the shit part is... they are not even functionally useful! WEAK!

Sigh~ I just wished my angelic conscience had a stronger voice... instead the pansy ass gives in to my demonic conscience...

There is a bright side to this though... SHARING! At least I know others can benefit from my purchase, it makes the whole affair worthed it. Gavynn and Dav, remember to dl yea? =)

The King's Speech

I didn't expect it to be all that interesting but I was amused thoroughly by the great acting chops of 3 main playas! I will list my favourite in bestest to best order:

1) Geofrey Rush (Who starred as Barbossa in Pirates of the Carribean series).

2) Helena Bonham Carter (Harry potter's Bellatrix Lestrange, Merlin's morgana lefey, Alice in Wonderland's Red Queen).

3) Collin Firth (Bridget Jone's Diary, Love Actually)

Overall a good watch. 4/5.

Sri Melaka Restaurant

Ok, no offence to the crowd that I had dinner with in Sri Melaka last Sunday, no doubt, it was fun hanging out with them (For one of many obvious reasons... hahaha... man... that smile... and vampire fangs just makes me melt), although I had very little to say that evening, it was fun listening to them swapping travel stories. and you gotta love that motto: "Pay less for maximum pleasure" or... something along that line.

Now, back to Sri Melaka food... it was BAD! The food wasn't particularly unswallowable, to be honest, the dishes we ordered were ok, it's the price that bugged the hell of me. we ordered a total of 5 'common' dishes.... portion wise it was so-so.... but each dish was EXPENSIVE as hell! Even a simple vege dish lightly fried in garlic oil.... came up to about MYR 20++... terrible.

The only saving point from the dishes we ordered was the ruby dessert. Love the tiny ruby sago thingies.

Overall, Sri Melaka is overcharging for simple dishes... definitely a boycott from me.

The service, although attentive and polite, is just not good enough reason for me to make a 2nd dining visit.

New Series -> Being Human

Being Human (2011 US Series- currently on the Syfy channel in Singapore (Not sure about the wanky Astro) ) is actually based on the UK series of the same name.

The principle characters involve a Vampire, a Werewolf and a Ghost living under the same roof. Sure it might sound silly... but trust me, after 8 episodes, I am already totally in love with ALL the characters.

My eye is especially centered on Josh (Sam Huntington). I don't know why, I always loved the idea of turning into a wolf, so naturally the character connects well with me.

When I was showing my Korean colleague around KLCC that night, I actually passed Kinokuniya's new releases shelf... There it was... the mamak's face plastered on perfectly good hard covers... (Which I think is A WASTE if you ask me), then and there, I didn't even want to stain my hands on the filthy so called... memoir... even just to look at the price tag.

Dissecting The Characters: Part 2: Marvel VS Capcom 3

X-23 is one of the fastest characters in the bunch. And certainly strong too in both offence and defense. Still have not fully gotten a hang of her, as most of her attacks involve getting into incredibly close proximity with the opponent.

I love her Level 3 hyper combo, it involves her turning invisible, where you get few seconds to unleash a barrage of normal attacks, followed by the all powerful closer... a slo-mo (ala Matrix style) lunge on top of the opponent followed by a VERY damaging stab.

Takes away one HUGE chunk of HP too! ;-P

Apparently the Smart Tunnel ain't too smart.

With so much money spent, and even being featured in National Geographic, pride as one of Malaysia's wonder projecst that can mitigate flood water... apparently it ain't so smart after all...

I recalled the last time the city got flooded, the asshole officials gave an excuse saying the retention ponds were not completed, hence they were not able to successfully divert the flood.

Now what's their excuse?! Their dumb smart tunnel operators were having orgies when the heavy downpour occured? I mean what the hell, I even heard the weather forecast early in the morning, and it says to expect heavy rain in KL and Selangor.

This is another proof that KL is a shit, messed up city. I am just thankful I wasn't there today, otherwise I'm just gonna die of a stroke.

Dissecting the Characters: Part 1: Marvel VS Capcom 3

Phoenix

I was overjoyed when I first saw Phoenix being introduced as part of the character roaster. Her moves seem powerful in the trailer, and The Dark Phoenix (Jean's alter ego) can be summoned into the fight!

Phoenix is supposed to be one of the most powerful beings in the Marvel universe, and yet... she plays like a bitch in the game!

Oh My God! Look at how she gets pounded. Just 6-7 combo hits and she's a downer! And what the hell! I can't unleash Dark Phoenix until her mana gauge is at Level 5, and only when her lifebar gets depleted completedly would DP surface! Even then she plays like a bitch! Gets own in 4-5 combo hits in fact! -.-"

Her character stats presents her as one of the fastest characters in the selection. Which compromises her intelligence (Not sure how that effects the game), so in short, she's a dumb bitch. -.-" No wonder it's so hard for her to chain a ground combo into an aeriel one...

Overall... Phoenix... MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT... a 1/5. And she whines a hell lot... Jean... get with the story will ya?!

Thrusting Deeper: Marvel VS Capcom 3

1) We all know that Jill Valentine & Shuma Gorath are characters that are waiting to be unlocked in March 15th. And these characters codes are already present in the disc. The crappy part? We have to actually pay for the unlock key in March.

It's not just Jill and Shuma, a website has reported that there could be additional characters in the disk. See HERE. Frank West (Of Dead rising) and Dr. Octopus (Of Spider-man).

2) The online play is CRAP. The lag is really killing the fun. Not sure if this is due to our sucky streamyx or that the game's online component need patching.

3) The game's one big button masher. I think even a newbie can win a couple of matches without much effort.

4) Lack of features. Normally I would expect CPU controlled opponents readily available in the Training mode. That way I could test out some moves whilst being attacked by the CPU. Also, the gallery is full of re-use aspects. E.g. Art for characters, instead of presenting full fledge arts, they conveniently inserted stills for each character's ending. That sucks!

It shows Capcom is no longer dedicated in providing value-packed discs. Instead, they are leeching with DLCs.

Sigh... what happen to the game development world? Everything is about profitability now.

Ahem* First of... Dav, Stop spamming with Sentinel babies, you cheater!! *Bleh* hahahahaha.

Now, overall the game is ok-ok only.

Animation is slick, fights are frantic, the hyper combos are awesome to watch and Oh, the Xbox360 version is PLAGUED WITH SCREEN TEARING!!! Muahahahahhaa. Take that you Xbox lovers!

But I didn't quite like how Capcom setup the entire game. There are 36 characters in total, but only 9 fight levels. By right they should provide at least 20 e.g. Super Street Fighter IV.

I reckon they are going to pull the old DLC trick. Charge us consumers tons for additional characters/levels. Bastards...

Oh yeah... why the hell am I still supporting Capcom after the Dead Rising 2 fiasco? *Ponders*

I am travelling back from Singapore, and my bus docks at the IBM building next to 1U. I did not have a ride home, either I call a friend or grab a cab.

Just 2 hours before I reached, one of my 'friend' called me... and as usual she was just ranting about her shit. She knew why I went to Singapore, and did not even bother to ask about my stuff and how things went.

Can you fucking believe it? The entire 20 minutes phone conversation it was all about HER HER HER... how was her day... how was her valentine's... how was her new job interviews... If she should join the gym...

And when I asked if she could help fetch me back. Given she's staying close to 1U... You know how she bloody answered?

"Well it depends la... if my friend ask me to come out for gathering near 1U, I will consider fetching you home, I will let you know later"

CNY Plan Ruined by Malaysia Airlines

Among the various airlines I have patronized throughout the years, MAS offers the worst of service, and recently, I seem to have a nag of receiving the shitty side of their 'hospitality' one too many times.

I am going to mention the worst experiences thus far:

1) Was travelling to China, and the flight was scheduled at 2.20am in the morning. But the buggers have the cheek of announcing at 2am that the flight was going to be delayed for 5.5 hours! Their reason? The plane had undergone some technical issue. Hmm... safety seems suspicious don't you think?

And the worse thing? They didn't want to offer us any sort of compensation in the form of room accomodations. Citing that it was only given if the flight got delayed 6 hours! What the hell! Smart bastards ain't they? Just short of 0.5 hours, and they took advantage over it.

All they offered was a stupid burger king meal voucher. And they weren't even apologetic. The dumb manager even had the arrogance of arriving at the counter late to address the angry crowd, and even proclaimed that the incident was not of their choosing. Wow, the first time I see a crowd so riled up in the airport. Shouting match went on.

2) Back to the title, Firefly practically ruined out CNY 1st day by destroying our well planned out one day trip to Penang.

They delayed the flight by 2.5 hours, and again, stating that it's due to the plane having 'technical' issues... My God... don't these bastards ever service their planes!?

What's shitty? They didn't even bother to announce it at all! Only when the gate attendant saw us still sitting around the waiting lounge and when it was near boarding time, only did he came over and tell us.

**Saving grace**
The Malay guy who came over to us was HOOOOOOOOOOOTTTT!!!! 'On top' (*Winks winks*) of that, he was actually very very polite! Ahhaha... Just talking to him really made me all gaga over him. Not a bad body either. hahaha. Judging from what I see through that tight shirt. ;-)

Anyway, after a short discussion, we decided to get a refund for the tickets, (Which I must emphasize that it would take more than 2 months to reach my shores!). So, all-in-all, other than the not so sincere apology from the sales assistant, there were no other compensations whatsoever. *hooshah*

3) Gradual destruction of my luggage. First it was the firefly trip to Singapore many months back. They totally destroyed my pulley handle! My God, I totally have no idea how they could snap that part off, as it was fastened in its place all the while.

Then it was back from the China trip... where the handle was totally sliced in 2!! C'mon!

Bastards all in all.

Overall... MAS and Firefly are shitty airlines. If I have the choice, I ain't going for them. Like someone said, they don't have to bother about their sales performance, cause the government would bail them out if they are undergoing financial crisis, at the expense of tax payer dollars.

Airasia can be pretty calculative and shitty, but at least they still have integrity in their service... well... somewhat... My next dealing with them would either proof me right... or downright wrong.

MAJOR Food poisoning that is!

I was pratically bed-ridden the entire weekend. Am only beginning to feel slightly better after some meds.

I am gonna post this as a reminder... to BAN these various food outlets for Life. I have been eating a lot lately, but I am just going to be very selective with the ban, cause thinking of those foods still makes me wanna hurl.

1) McDonald's. Yes it's official... like Lady's fingers, I am now banning McD's from my diet. Just thinking of all the poison they serve really makes me queasy.

2) A&W. Yes... that too. Especially the branch near amcorp. Who the heck would serve Cold burgers?! And in the middle of the day!

3) Pasar malam food. You can never be too careful now. The lack of hygiene and using rotten qualitiy ingredients... urghh... not to mention I too am paying a whole lot for such crap!

Well then, From now on, I am gonna be more careful with my food intake. Don't want to ever experience this again... it's just too unpleasant to go through.

Here are various signs that signal the imminent end of our beloved country... Malaysia. Please feel free to add on if you wish.

1) The go-ahead with the 100-storey tower.

I just came back from the city, and I will unshamely declare that KL city is one of the shittiest city ever standing in this world. Mainly due to its poor planning that causes extreme deadlock under the most petty situation. Even during non-rush hours the roads in Jalan Imbi is mind numblingly jammed up. The police directing the traffic only helps a wee-bit.

You want to talk one of the shittiest part in the city? For now, I would say Jalan Pinang (In which the KL convention centre is situated), where it jams almost throughout the entire day. Make one wrong move (By not knowing the parking entrance to buildings like... say... Wisma UOA II) and you will be forced to take a big loop from Jalan Sultan Ismail and right back again into Jalan Pinang. That's really shitty.

Now... given that the roads are already all crapped up 85% of the time, the arrival of the 100-storey tower would totally kill the entire traffic... The traffic would be so bad I swear that it will start moving backwards.

And yet, our Prime minister is still insistent on building it, in the name of 'spurring economy'. We all know what that means la ya? *Winks*

You wonder right... how does building the 100 storey tower solve the current property glut in KL? A question that our 'esteemed' PM refuses to answer till date.

2) High-income job bar set at MYR 3K

Oh My God... I was so shocked when reading today's news!

The minister of international trade and industry said RM3,000 is a “reasonable income” for someone in the Klang Valley and that it was a good income for regions such as the east coast and east Malaysia.

I thought my eyes was full of shit and I even took the trouble of washing them with my new facial wash... And no... that statement was still very readable.

What the fuck!? How can MYR 3K be high income benchmark in the Klang Valley? You can barely survive with that amount now adays, with prices soaring, and subsidies being generously removed!

I would definitely love to see our ministers live with said income. Hey, what was the news I read some time back that one such minister complaining that his basic MYR 6-7K was not even enough?!

Bugger ministers, don't ever remind us again that we should plant vegetables on our roofs. That is a shitty statement coming from thiefs like you.

Rocky Start to 2011

Anyway, back to the subject. Yeah, I had a rocky start. Was kinda startled with some bad news early in the morning.

If you must know, I was at Penang doing some 'family' stuff, except this time, it gets much more depressing for some reason. I thought all was well during my 3 day visit, but was bitch-slap with a shocking news when I left the place this morning.

Sigh... no use thinking back about what could have been. Best make things as comfortable as possible for all sides. I guess, that's about the only humanly thing I can do.

Talk about being optimistic eh? Well, to a certain degree.

Wouldn't it be nice to have someone to go home to? It gives you direction in a sense. I know it's not the only thing that drives one to move on in life, but I would certainly love to experience it... at least once.

I had a major scare last Sunday morning. And it really changed my perception on life altogether also. It shows that I am not ready for a lot of things. I was really shook up... it's like waking up to a nightmare from another nightmare. It never ceases.

The Birdcage, At Home at the End of the World

I saw these 2 movies on TV when I was away.

The Birdcage

About 2 gay dad's raising 1 of the dad's biological son. And the son eventually falls in love with the daughter of a famed politician. At first he is ashamed of his heritage but soon comes to terms with it.

Very heart warming show. And that was the first time I saw Hank Azaria (The actor who played the scientist in love with Phoebe in Friends sitcom) having such a hot body! Oh My God! I even mistaken him as Sean Penn in this movie.

At Home at the End of the World

I don't like Collin Ferrel. For some reason he is appealing to the gay demographic, but not to me, until after I have watched this movie.

He's so down to earth here, and showing so much care for the people around him, it just shows another side of him that I would never expect to see in a million years.

The movie is mainly focused on the complicating relationship between 3 friends. It's got a rather sad ending.

The Walking Dead: Episode 6: TS-19, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, Due Date

I feel really sick these few weeks. I am just feeling so tired and frustrated and horny now that I would like to just walk up to some random guy and get fucked by him. Sigh...

Really lost it this time... nothing appeals to me at the moment... Even food, my all time coping mechanism, is no longer working anymore. I am so sick of food. They are practically poison!

Shit shit shit!!! Urgh... Just wished there's someone I could cuddle to right now.

In any case, here's what I watched.

The Walking Dead: TS-19 (Season Finale)

I actually missed this on the day it came out. I was away, and only got the chance to catch it few days later. This was a very good episode, and like I predicted or had hoped, the season ended with a BANG. literally. I shed tears towards the end. There was a sense of hopelessness as well as hope at the same time.

It was such a relief that Doctor Jenner wasn't the villain that I thought him up to be. In fact, quite the contrary, he's a very decent human being. And I was extremely touched by the relationship between him and his wife, and the reveal that TS-19 (Test subject 19) being his deceased wife.

Good watch. 4/5.

Here's to a great season 2! I wish they would start the episode with advanced timeline. And giving flashbacks to piece the gap, that would make one heck of an unorthodox yet awesome show!

The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader

I will cut right to the chase, I couldn't finish the movie. An hour through the movie I walked out. This episode just didn't speak to me as the first two did. The soundtrack was sub-par, and there was just no sense of urgency in the storyline.

And I hated the way they changed Reepachip's character. Both voice and personality.

For now, I am giving it a 1/5. I will be getting the DVD when it releases few months later. Hopefully I would like it better then.

Due Date

As we didn't finish Narnia, and I felt bad for dragging my companion into that movie (He didn't want to watch Narnia in the first place), so I suggested watching this immediately. This being the movie he intended to watch in the first place.

Sometimes I wonder why I care so much about how people feel. I had no intention of watching this. To me it's crap and I had to waste money for it. I was paying for myself and for him.

Anyway... all I recall is walking out from the movie 2-3 times:

1) 1st time was to head to the arcade... watching a hot guy playing Tekken 6. Well the story goes like this, before Due Date started we were at the arcade killing time, and the cute guy was at Tekken machine waiting for his turn, I immediately took the plunge and got closer to him. Yeah, I might seem like looking at people playing the game but in actual fact I was just admiring him from the back.

There was once I commented about the game to my companion, and the cute guy overheard, he turned back and asked "Was I gonna play"... OMG!!!! Being so shy I just let out a shy smile and said no... all the while not daring to look into his eyes...

Sigh... me and my wierd shy attitude again... I mean... I never know he could have been the one.

Oh well.

Anyway, the reason I walked out the first time was to see him again. He was having fun duking it out with another guy at the Tekken machine. It was few seconds of eye candy.

Speaking of which... I did not see the other hot guy doing the para that day. It was kinda disappointing.

2) Second time walking out to make calls and sms'es.

3) Third time to stuff myself with poisonous snacks. I wasn't hungry, but I was suffering watching the movie, so I decided to get some things to distract myself.

The movie has got some genuine laughs. But most of the time it involves Zach Galifianakis being lame. His character of that sort was good in the Hang Over, it just doesn't work here. It gets so irritating.

I did enjoy Robert Downey Jr's presence though. A lot of times I am just so sexually aroused just seeing him doing stuff in the movie... even when he was being nasty.

Overall. 2/5.

The Walking Dead: Episode 5: Wildfire

This was a great episode, though I wasn't sure of how to make of the finale. There were quite a number of highlights I enjoyed. Only the best ones captioned here.

Rick turning on the walkie-talkie channel as he promised Morgan. Warning him against heading to Atlanta. I like Morgan, and I hope to see him re-appear in later episodes. Although those who have read the comic would know what went on with him. And his move in the first episode wasn't exactly the wisest decision either.

The dead reanimating is supposed to be creepy. But this scene of Amy is quite the contrary full of emotion. I am beginning to like Andrea more and more. The scene explains why she was clinging onto Amy for such a long time, and refusing to let anyone else handle her. A form of closure that she never had with Amy when Amy was alive. A tear jerker to be exact.

Another scene where emotion ran high. On his personal request, Jim was left behind while the virus takes over. He didn't want to jeopardize the other survivor.

My least favourite scene, and it kinda plays out too closely to the resident evil movies. Introducing a lab as a set piece doesn't follow the source material, though I am intrigue nonetheless to find out what motivates Dr. Jenner. I just hope that there aren't any bio weapons appearing. It would kill off the entire series in an instant.

The last episode was filled with great sadness towards the ending. And like I mentioned in my short review, it was a great build up to a hopefully suspenseful coming episode.

Before I contradict myself... I meant I miss lots of unhealthy food that I used to indulge... A LOT in my youth. Yes, last I check I am still a tub of goo... with no progress of seeing even a slightest bulge (Muscles! What were you thinking!?) on any part of my body.

I remember oh so fondly that there was a period of time when I would frequent KFC... DAILY... for dinner. That's pratically one of the reasons why I am a walking barrel of toxic waste now. But it was good back then. I didn't think much of the consequence, and it was just BLISSFUL HEAVEN! The hint of spice on the crispy fried chicken skin... that was no doubt, the best part of it all.

Now? I hardly patron KFC these days. Maybe once in half a year or even longer. And I can never fully enjoy the experience when sinking my teeth into those chicken bits... there is always this nasty nagging sensation coming into picture.

Who could ever forget laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaatte night supper (Or you can even call it eaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarly breakfast) in SEA PARK mamak. They used to sell VERY good maggie goreng and fried chicken. But that was when the original cook was still there. Now he's no where in sight, and the standard of the food has since dropped drastically. Back then it was so good, and I remember always sneaking out to the place even when I was told of the dangers of eating such oily foods. Yummmmmmm...

Now... I wouldn't even wanna touch maggie goreng. Only every once in a blue moon I would indulge... and like KFC, I couldn't enjoy the experience fully knowing that I am consuming such unhealthy stuff. The best maggie goreng in PJ can still be found at State (the mamak place next to Pizza Hut) or even Al-Ehsan located in Paramount (Same row as the O&S coffee shop).

Sigh...

Oh yeah... every young boys would gobble up BIG portion of food those times. I could eat a lot at buffet places... eat many plates/bowls of rice (Almost like a competition and trying to achieve for the best record haha), shove down lots of desserts like ice-cream...

Sadly those are days long gone... a mere spec of memory soon to be forgotten. Eating has become such a terrible chore now... it's not only that I keep reminding myself that most foods sold outside are unhealthy (With excessive amount of oil, seasoning), also, my body is no longer able to handle all the poison I shove down my throat. Most of the time I would get some wierd reaction. Getting bloated due to the chemical reaction is one.

I miss food... back in the old days.

The Walking Dead: Episode 4: Vatos

Excellent episode. Definitely faster paced then the 3rd one.

A heart warming moment between Andrea and her 12-years-younger sister.

Glenn getting ready to snag the bag of weapons.

We learn that there is a another group of survivors residing in Atlanta. And they are not going away without a fight.

Chaos back in camp.

Casualty of war.

Overall I enjoyed the episode, but from the starting scene I sorta guessed who would die. There is a nice balance between character exposition and action.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1: Major Disappointment

I will get straight on to it, the movie, as a standalone, SUCKS BIG TIME!

The entire movie is a drag fest! Whereby the producers are trying to justify splitting into 2 movies.

If you cut out the unimportant scenes, it should run at about 1 hour only! And this movie is about 2 hours in total.

As I recalled, the book is jam packed with expositions, and I thought the reason why they split into 2 movies is to cramp all the details into the final installment.

Little did I know that the whole reason now for the split is to cash in on us suckers!

Let me sum up the movie for you:

1) Harry is escorted from the Dursley's to secret hideout. Friends consume polyjuice potion to mask as Harry. The gang splits up to mislead the death eaters. Focus on the battle on Harry. *Highlight no. 1*

2) Hermione, Ron and Harry escapes Bill's wedding that's being bombarded by Death eaters.

3) The 3 travel to the ministry of magic to proclaim one of the Horcrux from Dolores Umbridge *Highlight no. 2*

4) 3 of them wondering aimlessly thoughout the world. (Consists of 50% of the show and the most slow and bullshit part I must say).

5) The introduction of the Deathly Hallows. Backstory told in animated form. *Highlight no. 3*

6) Getting caught and interrogated by Bellatrix Lestrange. The escape. Dolby's death. *Highlight no. 4*

7) Voldermort ripping off Dumbledore's tomb and lying face to face to his corpse. I could almost sworn that a french kiss was imminent. I was wrong. And that practically is the cliff hanger ending of Part 1.

There... 4 highlights the entire 2 hour plus movie. And each are quite short. Ok, I will give another highlight. We get to see Harry shirtless in 2-3 scenes and boy is the guy Hairy indeed!!! Just the way I like it. haha. Gotta tone those up baybeh! Ahem*

People, if given the chance, do not watch Part 1! Rather, wait for the whole DVD set of Deathly Hallows to come out and indulge then! It would make a better movie like that.

I am pretty sure the a-holes @ Warner brothers are gonna re-release Part 1 sometime in June 2011 in 3-D. Whoever's gonna re-watch this then are A-holes themselves.

Let's hoping for an awesome finale in Part 2. But from the rate of things, a lot of original content's gonna be cut out.

The Walking Dead: Episode 3: Tell it to the Frogs

Just got off watching episode 3. It was a slow episode, but filled with a lot of character building. This episode basically sheds a little background on some of the survivors. E.g. the abused wife, survivors having trust issues etc...

Highlights that caught my interest:

1) The emotional reunion between Rick and his family. I love the tender/reconciliation moment between him and Lori, and Lori's guilt for unknowingly cheating on her husband, also for unknowingly leaving him to his death in the hospital.

2) The part where after they chop the zombie's head off, and it still animates proves that in order to put it down for good, the brain needs to be severely damaged.

3) Even I felt hatred for the racist bigot in the 2nd episode who's got himself cuffed up on the roof of the departmental store, seeing how he desperately tries to free himself and showing a hint of remorse and moaning about how he is being dealt with a punishment from God for his wrong doings, while the zombies try to bust through the locked door, almost made me feel a bit sorry for the guy. And from his moaning and groaning, sounds like he's got some abuse issues as a kid.

4) The part when the team led by Rick heads back to the roof to save the guy, and only seeing his right hand there, really builds up to a great following episode (Hopefully).

Overall. 3.5/5.

Let's hope to a better and more action/suspense filled episode next week.

Scott Pilgrim VS The World

Finally! The DVD is out.

But Sadly, the movie did not surpass my expectations. Sure there are fun scenes to be had here and there, and I particularly love the appearances of 2 of my favorite actors: Chris Evans (Fantastic 4, Captain America) and Brandon Routh (Superman Returns), hot as hell. Too bad there's just no scene of them shirtless.

I love Chris Evan's bad-boy vibe... My God... just makes me wanna jump on him and do nasty things. And Brandon's... Love the blonde look! And that Bod (Through the tight T-shirt)... *Melts*

Overall, it's a kinda fun fare. If you are a video game enthusiast like me, you would get the joke, otherwise stay clear. This is a movie of acquired taste.

Call of Duty: Black Ops VS Dragon's Age Origins

I bought Call of Duty: Black Ops and didn't quite feel it.

Sure yeah, the graphics are nice, but it's full of glitches that really turned me off (Look at the sugarcane fields in the PS3 version), and plus the single player campaign is too scripted for my liking. It's like watching an interactive movie through and through.

The multiplayer aspect is so full of bugs and lag that the fun just got lost from the start. Hopefully Treyach is patching the game.

As such, I resort to trading the game with Dragon Age Origins from my cousin. Yeah sure it's a year old, but I thought wth, the story and gameplay is closer to my taste.

Little did I know the PS3 version too is lag as hell. *Groan*. Even turning the camera will cause the game to stutter... which is an eye sore. Now I am kinda regretting and thinking if I've got the better end of the deal.

Only Fox-HD is listed as airing the show.

So this whole time, airing it on normal Fox channel on 5th was just a marketing ploy to get viewers riled up to subscribe to the beyond channel.

My God... Astro really suck **lls... not only the beyond viewers are forking up extra cash for HD channels which I don't think is on par as the US HD cable programmes, but they are basically getting censored like hell programmes e.g. Walking Dead.

There's really no point hoping on Astro anymore. Either wait for the US DVD release (Do not get the locally released DVD's as they too are censored), or download online from 12pm every Monday afternoon for each new episodes.

Remember guys, the show lasts through only 6 episodes for season 1. So basically, there's only 4 more to go.

Call of Duty: Black Ops (First Impression)

Just started the game and already I am encountering quite a number of graphical/AI glitches. By far this is the worst Call of Duty I have ever played. It almost seems unpolished.

I won't pass a final verdict just yet. Wait till I finish the single player campaign and try my hands on the multiplayer.

The Walking Dead- Looking Forward to Episode 2: Guts

Towards the ending of episode 1 (Days Gone By) last week, when Rick was trapped in the tank surrounded by ferocious zombies.

*Communications Radio Crackles*

Voice: "Hey you!... Dumb ass!"

Rick looks towards the radio...

*Static*

Voice: "Yeah... you in the tank! Cosy in there?"

The music plays... end of episode 1.

This is but a tiny snippet of a major character to be introduced as part of the main character roaster.

He is Glenn. An Asian American. And one of the most popular character in the walking dead storyline that I am so looking forward to see in the flesh!

If you must know, Glenn is one of the very few gems whereby an Asian character actually gets a sturdy, heroic, selfless stature. In most hollywood movies/programmes, the asians usually get moronic appearances or mere cameos, or to the fullest extend, a side-kick.

But this character is way different than any other Asians in most Hollywood programmes! He is selfless! He is resourceful! He is righteous to a fault! and he is a survivor!

I can't wait to see him in action in the 2nd episode!

GO GLENN!!!

And, judging from the title of the episode... I am pretty sure there's gonna be a lot of spillage of human/zombie guts involved. Lol.

People, if you plan to follow the series (The Walking Dead), ditch Astro's. It's totally unwatchable. Better yet, find sources online.

The Astro's version (Aired every Friday at 11pm, today showing the 1st episode) is censored to such a ridiculous extend that there's nothing left to watch. It's not just the violence, even frightening imagery they censored... even normal conversations between characters.

I seriously do not see any reason why they would wanna air the show in the first place if 40% of the footage is not even making the cut.

It totally kills off the character's motivation.

Truth be told, Astro sucks. Stupid repetitive, outdated programmes that are censored to the max. And they charge a bomb for shitty service.

I had a dream last night, and I remember being very happy in the dream.

I met someone in the dream, successful career-wise, owns a big apartment. and living just near me. I remember he took me out for a movie or something, but his relatives/parents came in on the same day, they wanted to see him on our date night/day.

I opted to him that we should just go out and have dinner with his family, we could always date some other time.

He looked somewhat close to 'Fletcher' from Bride's War. But I don't think he's quite as jerkish and controlling.

I remember some of our friends from 4g2g in the dinner also, joining us at our table. =) and a certain couple just had their wedding photos made into a picture book. hahaha. It was surreal.

Yeah I was happy in the dream. Until I woke up.

People just don't Band Together for a Common Cause Anymore

I have noticed throughout my life that people are just not interested in getting together and fight for a common cause.

When a potential issue is pre-inherent, people simply just don't care. I even have someone told me to the face, "Look, it hasn't happened yet, so why do we need to trouble ourselves?" And speaking about any issues from across broad range of topics.

Red Dead Redemption DLC: Undead Nightmare

As far as reviews go, this is very worthed it. At only SGD 13. with a total of 6 hours gameplay (This beats the shit of Star Wars TFU II anytime), it's just worthed it!

I am already downloading my copy from PSN now.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II Review - Minus the Swearing

Ok, I admit I got carried away after evaluating the quality of TFU2. But my frustration and disappointment are justified because the game really is BAD. I however, will provide a deserving score for its subtle improvement over the previous title.

Pros:

1) The combat is very much refined now. Saber fight is now a breeze and utilization of force power is more streamlined. The targeting reticle for you to force grip is handled much better now. Toying with storm troopers with your force powers is VERY FUN this time around and not a chore.

2) Graphics (especially when there's opened outdoor space involved) is a sight to behold. The lighting particularly breathes atmosphere and realism.

That's about the good point.

Cons:

1) Repetitive in every aspect. The level maps repeat again and again and again and again... takes a deep breath... again and again... So do the enemies. The battle can be frantic when lots of enemies are thrown at you in one go, but to repeat this formula with the same bunch of enemies again and again is just plain lazy.

2) There are total of 9 levels, and if you think that is short, wait till you get a load of this. I was playing the 2nd world (After the Kemino level that you see from the demo), and the length was quite satisfactory. But when I exit the game and went into the level select screen, the entire 2nd world is contributing to 3 freaking levels already! and the 4th level is just a 6-10 second traversal map with no eye candy in the environment or anything to do! that's 4 levels in total. So you are basically getting a very shoddy deal in terms of length.

3) Lucasarts has employed the stall and extend tactic to the game, by throwing in repeated level designs, same enemies... they are trying to fool us into believing that the game is long. But if you factor out all the redundant aspects of the game, at best you are getting 1.5 hours of unique gameplay. And mind you, you are paying MYR 170 for a 1.5 hours game with no incentive whatsoever to replay.

4) The worst last boss fight ever. Final showdown with Vader if not mistaken is a level on its own. And it takes nearly half and hour to deplete his first layer of life. You would expect variety in the fight but Noooooooooooooo... basically what you are doing is pummeling on his health for 30 freakin minutes with nothing but your lightsaber, while fending off knocked off clones of you.

If you die when you are close to defeating his first layer of health, you are gonna restart the 30 minute fight all over again.

5) The story has no omph. Basically getting from kamino, finding Juno, Juno gets captured, fly back to kamino to save Juno. There's no revelation at all like in the first game.

This sums things up. Overall I am giving the game 1/5 as my final verdict. There were really Huge and Coowl set pieces that gave a wow factor! and for that it deserves a point together with the pros mentioned above.

Don't buy this game. Don't give Lucasarts the privilege of earning your money. Just take the game from me and kill some 2 hours of your time.

I am just stumped you know... Lucasarts actually did take heed to the flaws of the first game and improve them (The pros stated above), but they also compromised by takeing what's good in the first game and mash it up into a steaming pile of crap.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2 - Fucking Piece of SHIT TRASH.

I feel like taking a pair of scissors and just cut my freakin balls off!

Why? Because I spent tons getting this piece of shit game!

Why am I so freakin mad?! The fucking game lasted for only 2-3 freakin hours!

And you know what's the shocker part? If you look at the level select menu, there are only 9 freakin levels! Firstly, that's few stages lesser than the 1st game. That's fine. Then they said that this 'Degobah' stage is like a 10-second traversal map with no shit to do but to get to point end... and they categorized this as a freakin stage. That's fine I thought... just one level.

Then when I completed the 2nd world... which I thought was pretty long and coowl... To my dismay that fucking world is actually split into 3 freakin levels! So that's like... 5 fucking levels completed already! And another 4 short-ass ones to go.

Not only that! The freakin level design repeats like hell! It's a freakin Cut and Paste fest! Even a diploma student knows that cutting and pasting is fucking bad for your health! Not only that, the enemies are so fucking redundant!

OH MY GOD!!! Fuck you Lucasarts! I want my freakin' money back! Lan jiao to the max!

You are better off with just the demo! Anyone who wanna get this game DON'T! Just take from me and play. Don't give Lucasarts suck ass your money.

Dead Rising 2: Final Thoughts... For Good

Well, I have braved the stupid screen tearing and finally completed the entire campaign. Chuck is at max level now (Level 50), and growing strong against the horde.

I must say, obvious technical issues aside, the game was a pretty fun ride. As I mentioned before, gameplay is varied: You get different survivors to contend with and they all exude different behaviors, and you get to mix up a whole bunch of combo weapons that are interesting and fun to use against the zombies. Oh yeah, you can also play dress up in the mall. haha.

Looking across the distance where it's littered with thousands of zombies is both fear-inducing and breath-taking at the same time. And they are by no means simple designed models, they look pretty good closed up with good textures too. Oh, and did I mention they come in a good variety of sizes and clothing too. Which is impressive.

The boss fights too are interesting, though many require some patience and some time for you to discover a pre-fixed pattern before you go for the kill.

I just love the tension in this game, mostly contributed by a very strict timeline. Each time you are given opportunity to perform side quests but you might not be able to complete them all without first knowing short cuts through the map and without clashing with the main stories' dead lines. Good stuff.

Well, at least I did my part and completed the game, so it's not a total waste after all. Here's hoping Capcom would patch the game some time in the future.

Now I am trying so hard to connect to an on-line co-op game, can never find one. Is this a bug.

I remember when Parkson Atria was such an 'In' place when I was still a kid that we've got many game stores there selling nintendo/super nintendo/genesis products.

I was particularly hooked on to this game (That they demo everytime on the SNES), and I always look forward to my weekend trips there. I could just stand in front of the TV watching the demo loop.

Really brings back memories.

I love how creative the Japs can be with their games. So wacky and definitely there's sexual undertones in the games. ;-P

Star Wars: The George Lucas VS Expanded Universe Perspective

I am pretty pumped, because Star Wars the Force Unleashed II is coming out this FREAKING WEEK! Played the demo and have to say: AWESOME stuff. It's got significant improvement over the original. Let's hope Lucas Arts did not produce a shoddy game for the PS3 version. The 1st one was fine, but it wasn't exactly up to par as its Xbox 360 counterpart.

Now, I have gone through my fair share of all things Star Wars, and it is safe to say that as long as George Lucas does not have a heavy hand in producing the story/spin-offs, 90% of the time they would turn out GOOD! Case in point: The storyline for Unleashed. Good right? The action is marvelous too!

I am still kinda sore that GW ruined one of my all time favourite characters in the Star Wars universe. General Grevious: First introduced in the Clone Wars animated short, and later on in the movie: The revenge of the sith.

The Clone Wars animated short depicted Grevious as unrelenting, intimidating and all round skilled in the arts of lightsaber duels. He was feared by even the most powerful Jedi masters. Just look at him lunging at the master with 3 lightsabers, with one being clasped by his foot!

Grevious as he was first conceived. A force to be reckoned with.

But look how he turned out when George Lucas produced and directed Revenge of the Sith. The character practically got its balls ripped off, and was killed so easily by Obi-Wan. And what the hell is with his voice? He speaks in a very wierd accent.

Shit-tified version. As shown in Revenge of the Sith. Why is the movie so filled with teeth cringing campy dialogue?

George Lucas, You suck! Please leave all future productions of all things star wars to the REAL talents and keep your crummy influence at a bare minimum. Budget 2011 Malaysia- Extreme Frustration

It seems that our ruling government is adamant in killing the country.

As of yesterday, it was announced that they are going to take the BIGGER and GLAMOROUS approach in stimulating the economy, and just a few months back they were bitching that the country would go bankrupt.

Hence... GST... removing subsidies... annual MYR 50 government charges for credit cards... getting rid of scholarships. It's all good if the extra cash is used for a good cause. BUT we all know where the money goes to!

EPF is even using our money to buy over PLUS toll. Just read the analysis online and you will find out why this is a bad move. I even hear EPF has been used to offset cost from that fucking useless behemoth Bakun Dam.

We are getting screwed again and again and these people are EXPERTS in lying with a fucking straight face. There really isn't any more hope with these people. From this point of time, there is no longer any salvation for them.

I just cannot wait for GE 13 anymore. I wish to do at least a small part in bringing them down.

There is something wrong with these people. They are always aiming for newer and bigger things, but have no brain cells to do feasibility studies on the long term prospect.

For example, the Sri Aman girl's school headmistress. That 'lady' is insistent on building a new swimming pool, and is forcing ALL parents to pay up MYR 200 for the cause. And mind you, the total estimate of MYR 500K is just for building the pool and for initial setups. How the fuck is she going to come up with the cash to maintain the pool (Which by no means is a walk in the park as far as budgetary concerns go)? From parents AGAIN? All this for trying to show the world that the school is one of a kind.

It's good to stand out. But FUCKING MAKE SURE YOU CAN AFFORD IT and not at the expense of your community!

And I heard that the students representatives had meetings with her about the idea. Majority voiced out that the money could be used to upgrade basic necessities instead (E.g. The sorry state of the canteen, libraries, toilets, etc...). But all this has fallen into death ears.

I love this movie so much! Just like I love 'Confessions of a shopaholic'! I just can't get enough of Kate Hudson! She's just such a charmer, and pretty! Love her 'Never lose' vibe in this movie! And who can forget Anne Heatherway! Boy, this lady is pure beauty! And she can really swing! lol.

The ending touched me so much. When Kate's character felt a rush of guilt and sadness when she witnessed her best friend breaking up with her fiance in her own wedding space... I literally shed tears just seeing them both reconcile at the end... That's what true friendship is about!

And I just simply have an idea for a REALLY REALLY ideal, beautiful photograph for 2 persons I know. That picture alone would really speak a gazillion words!

The Fall of Japanese Gaming Industry?

Maybe labeling as such is premature, but so far we have witnessed a shift in business strategies of some big-named Japanese gaming companies and drop in quality of their products.

What shocks me this time is Final Fantasy XIV by Square Enix.

We all know that Final Fantasy XIII wasn't all that good, but with recent reviews out for Final Fantasy XIV, which got hammered extremely badly for atrocious gameplay, kinda sheds some light about what's happening to Japan's gaming industry.

Very sad indeed... Let's hope this is just a minor speed bump. I would hate to see Square Enix/Capcom run into the ground after these minor setbacks.

I am on an uncontrolled spending spree... someone please snap me out of it!!!

On the plus side, I saw this guy doing Para-para in Tropicana city mall's arcade. He's REALLY hardcore! Saw him bringing a bottle of water for the occasion.

What turns me on so much was his moves! (Not exactly very good looking, but more than enough for me, got that man-boy quality to him.) and the fact that his mouth was ajar the ENTIRE song just... just... Oh well, that's for my imagination. heh-heh...

I sure hope to see him again there one day... today was the 2nd time... and hopefully 3rd time's the charm.

Eurogamer has finally confirmed my findings, but they mentioned that the screen tearing is barely noticable and won't distract from play. Well, I am glad that this is finally put to a rest, somewhat. Let's see what's lens of truth's analysis has got to say in the next few days.

All in all, I am still uncomfortable with the screen tear, but there doesn't seem to be anyway out of it so mehh. My final verdict for the game. 2.5/5.

The sheer number of zombies on screen at once and each doing their own thing is really a sight to behold. Technically I am very impressed, and the variety in the gameplay is also good. I particularly enjoyed the different situations those survivors place themselves into. Lol. Some are so freakin hillarious... like escorting a senile grandma out of a toyshop... Thank God Chuck's a gentleman and willing to carry her. Oh and oh!! Who can forget that bikini chiq who practically forces you to strip to your underwear just so she's willing to put aside her shame and follow you to safety. These 2 aspects warrant points.

Why Screen Tear Disappears after the 'Combining Item' Animation?

I finally understood why Vsync gets turned on after you combine item (Not that hard to figure out after a few more sessions of play). If you notice, in every custscene there is vsync turned on, and hence minor yet noticable lag though with zero traces of screen tear. I guess the developers chose not to tear close-up scenes of the characters (That would have been so ackward lol). Each time when you combine an item, there is always a 'close-up' shot of Chuck doing his thang and this is where Vsync gets turned on. Immediately after the animation it transitions directly back to gameplay without any form of loading and the vsync is left in tact. Hence all the screen tear vanishes along with it. However you are then greeted with lags in tight spots.

For other cutscenes which are always followed by a loading screen, the vsync gets turned off/reset after that loading screen.

So in my opinion, not a bug, but rather just a programming decision. And.......... I don't think Capcom or Blue Castle would do anything about the PS3 version, because there's nothing to work on/correct. (Being hopeful anyway though. lol)

Still, I feel Capcom could have done a better job with DR2. Part of the reason I am so disappointed is because this was after all a highly anticipated title. Do I regret getting DR2? Yes... I would think so. I would have been better off waiting for Castlevania or even Vanquish.

Anywayyyy... That is that.

Firstly I need to say... C'mon people! To those who have been bashing myself and the blog on the previous post. Lemme just say that it was a personal opinion. And if you do not believe it, fine. I am not forcing you to.

I am by no means wanting anyone to buy my story totally. You have the means of determining that or investigating the matter further if you like.

Yes, you can wait for Lens of truth or even Eurogamer's to post on the subject matter, as I am too myself. (Seriously, I love lens of truth or even eurogamer's comparison articles. They roughly tell how developers now a days fare in multi plat development. It's exciting. kekeke.)

I have posted my findings with the test play below, and if you do not agree, it's fine. The world still goes on. I am pretty sure you guys have got better things to do than to bash a blog over a personal opinion.

Dead Rising 2 Screen Tearing, MASSIVE one... on the PS3

It is extremely disheartening when such a famed developer/publisher like Capcom would allow buggy final products to be marketed.

Long story short, the PS3 version of Dead Rising 2 is plagued with VERY VERY nauseating screen tearing throughout the map. Even when the map is devoid of any objects, it tears like hell.

I have tried the Xbox 360 version and notice no such issues on the platform.

Capcom, what the hell are you doing with QC? and DR2 is supposed to boost up your company's sales performance. *Sigh*

Please release a patch soon, the game is really unplayable with all the tear.

I hope you would advice Blue castle development team to do the needful. It's just painful to see such a famed company churning out trashy products and charging at such a high price.

Let's see if they do reply to my feedback and KIV (Hopefully soon followed by actioning) my suggestions after reporting my test results.

My Test Result:

I am uncertain if this is a bug, but from the looks of it, it could be.

When the game starts, screen tearing is EVERYWHERE. But frame rate persists at about 30fps even when a map is full of zombies. Which is quite impressive to watch. On the flip side, going through the map with such horrendous screen tearing is really bad for your health. My eyes got VERY sore after half an hour playthrough.

A peculiar thing I noticed was, when I finally got the opportunity to 'combine' items in the maintenance room, after the combining animation, somehow the screen tearing vanished from existence! And this whole experience would last if you remain on the same map space. However, if you transition to another map (Which normally precedes by a loading screen), the screen tearing would re-appear. That is, until you combine another item in that map.

This leads me to believe that vsync gets turned on when you combine items, whereas it remains off before. Sounds like a bug to me.

The only down side to vsync gets turning on is that performance would drop in very crowded areas, albeit to slightly below 20 fps. Which is still manageable in my books.

So there's a choice between screen tearing and frame dips... which would I rather not have to go through? The answer is obvioously the former. Screen tearing is acceptable to a certain degree, but not when it happens across the entire screen and all the time! With that many zombies lurking around, it's no fun when the tear would disorient you into their clutches.

OMG... This purchase was an after thought, and only came into mind just because I wanted to give myself an excuse to see him again, as well as to support his shop.

Never did it cross my mind that the game would turn out so... AWESOME!

Yes I said it! A Spider-man game that I actually enjoy A HELL LOT!

Firstly, the GRAPHICS! ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!

I simply wanna go over to Beenox and give every developer a kiss for doing such a wonderful job porting the game over for the PS3!

The textures are all so sharp! The models are so detailed! The stage map is HUGE! There is literally no screen tearing, no slow down whatsoever, even when the screen is packed with so many enemies all at once!

I tell you... just looking at the Helicarrier stage makes me jizz all over!

And the game play! SO MUCH FUN! I love how those scripted events unfold! Makes the game all the more epic!

This was a surprisingly wonderful purchase! 4.5/5 ! Oh yeah, I would have given it a full 5 but there were quite a number of bugs to contend with.

Medical Insurance Fraud

It is happening all over the place, even with big name firms like... One such case HERE.

Suffice to say. Please check your policies throughoughly and I do mean read the entire fine print more than twice before signing up.

I have seen many cases where the company took the trouble find loop holes in your condition and not pay for your medical fees.

Kinda think of it... the whole concept of insurance is somewhat of a fraud. Partial fraud if you will. If you work out the amount you continue paying them for coverage throughout the years, and the time when something untoward *Touch wood* actually happens, you are more or less paying the fees with your own pocket money.

And the idea of them only issuing gurantee letters to hospital when your illnesses are at at a critical stage (Think cancer)... that just suck balls... What the hell is the point for medical insurance if you're at the brink of death already?

Why are we still supporting these establishment even knowing the above facts? There are definitely other ways to support medical expenses and cover losses... but I don't think many people would compromise to the new methods in mind. It's the way we human think (Only caring about covering our own asses) that's killing the population.

Humans... sigh~... we are such wonderful creatures in our right... but at the same time... we are cancers upon this world.

Resident Evil: Afterlife

Is a rather crappy movie, but not entirely.

The only enjoyment I had was watching Milla Jevovich strutting her stuff. This gal is really really hot!

I watched the movie in 3-D. Paid MYR 17.5 for it. Let me tell you, the film was produced and shot in 3D, so you won't get too many shoddy 3D effects like many other films that claimed that they were in 3D. However, a thing to note is that the scenes move too fast that it's takes your eyes some time to adjust to the depth of perception illusion. Unlike Avatar, which presents a lot of its 3D content in slower pacing scenes and generally on the scenery in Pandora to give the awe effect.

So far I felt the best 3D effects put into use is in the shower scene (No, no one is showering in the nude). It's the battle between both gals and the Executioner Majini.

Story-wise... lacks originality... at freaking all! Even the fight scenes are copied STRAIGHT from Resident Evil 5! My God!!! The exact camera angle in placed too! This aspect really turned me off. I might as well be re-playing RE5. Well, the only exciting part was at the beginning of the film, when the clones attacked Umbrella's base in Tokyo. After that everything just seemed to fall apart.

And the scene after end credits... OMG! Sucks.
